Strongate View Apartment is a first-floor, self-contained holiday home located in the village of Salway Ash near Bridport, Dorset. Rated 4★ by Visit England, it offers a comfy and cosy retreat at any time of year—an excellent alternative to a static caravan and a perfect base for exploring Dorset and the surrounding countryside.
We are set within Dorset’s National Landscape, with the Jurassic Coast and harbour at West Bay just 4 miles away. Charmouth, famous for fossil hunting, and Lyme Regis, with its historic seafront, are around 20 minutes by car. The vibrant town of Bridport is well known for its twice-weekly street market, independent shops, cafés, and vintage quarter.
The Apartment has one large bedroom with a king-size bed, with an additional single bed available. A travel cot and highchair are also provided. The light and airy lounge enjoys beautiful views over the Marshwood Vale. The kitchenette includes a dishwasher, with a separate cooking area featuring a Neff cooker and induction hob. There is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle.

We are pet-friendly and can accommodate one large dog or two small dogs. All bedding and towels are included, along with free WiFi and access to our washing machine if needed.
Parking for one vehicle is available at the front of the house.

£150 deposit on 7 night booking with the balance payable 14 days before arrival.
In event of cancellation
If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 25% of the stay will be made.
