Stongate Orchard is our secluded comfy static home is located in the Orchard at Strongate Farm, situated in the village of Salway Ash, 3 miles from the market town of Bridport.  The cabin is a perfect base for relaxing, recharging batteries my & exploring West Dorset, ideal for couples and families. Located in a rural setting on our small working farm, plenty of green space outside, you can feel at one with nature and the countryside.  There is decking attached to the caravan to enable you to enjoy lunch or your supper outside if you wish.  A bridleway runs through the farm so you can also enjoy a walk on your doorstep any time of day.
 

We are located within Dorset's National Landscape and the famous and stunning Jurassic coastline & harbour of West Bay is 4 miles away.  The vibrant market town of Bridport is well worth a visit along with Charmouth for fossil hunting and Lyme Regis.

The cabin has a large lounge with comfy sofa and table & chairs, electric fire.  Open plan galley style kitchen area, gas cooker new in 2032,  Two bedrooms, both with wardrobes, one bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom two small single beds. All bed linen and towels are included.  Bathroom with shower, and separate toilet.    Access to large green open space so room for children to explore and kick a football etc.  We have a trampoline which children can use with supervision.   We have cattle, sheep, ducks & geese on the farm, it's great for children.

Travel cot and highchair available (please bring your own bedding for the cot).  

Please note.  We also welcome dogs to stay (a maximum of 1 larger dog or 2 small dogs please) and there is an additional charge of £10 per dog per stay.

Cancellation policy

If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. If the booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 25% of the stay will be made.

A small beef farm near Bridport in West Dorset, a garden location with flower beds - home to a variety of wildlife with birds aplenty and there is even a large grass area for football and games next to the parking area.

It is the perfect base for families wanting to experience peace and quiet and explore the Jurassic coast and countryside. It is in a rural setting on a small working farm, surrounded by trees with a bridleway running through the farm so a walk from your doorstep can be enjoyed at any time of the day. The stunning Jurassic coastline harbour of West Bay (the location of Broadchurch on TV) is less than 4 miles away.
