My family let out our family holiday home ourselves for the first time in 2017. Our homely lodge is located on the wonderful Holiday Park, Parkdean at St. Minver near Rock in Cornwall.

Our lodge can sleep up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobes and an en suite toilet and shower room. The other bedrooms have twin beds and good storage, one is linked to the family bathroom.

The Lodge benefits from double glazing and central heating throughout as well as a flame effect fire in the living area.

The fully fitted kitchen includes a oven plus a built in large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer dryer and plenty of storage space. The family bathroom has a shower in the bath.

Outside the lodge, there is a large and secure decked with table and chairs area and ample parking and grassed areas. 

St. Minver Holiday Park owned by Parkdean Resorts, is located 2 miles from Rock which lies on the Camel estuary with its beautiful beaches of Daymer Bay, Rock and Polzeath, known for its surfing. All beaches have car parks and Polzeath also offers surfing lessons along with surfing equipment to hire.

St. Minver Holiday Park lies in wonderful private grounds boasting a large indoor pool with sauna, indoor and outdoor seating areas and full changing facilities. Also on the park is a laundry, well stocked shop, large children's play area, crazy golf and the Old Manor Club House with WiFi, restaurant, bar, takeaway food, amusement arcade and entertainment area offering a full and varied daily program for children and adults. Some park facilities are not all available all year round - please enquire for details. Also in the villages of Rock, St.Minver & Pityme there are local pubs.

On the road leading to Rock there are a variety of shops including two deli's, a grocery store, fish and chip shop, butchers, fishmongers and bakers. Whilst in Rock there are several excellent cafes along with Nathan Outlaw's seafood restaurant. Also in Rock you can learn to sail, water ski and windsurf.

From Rock you can catch the ferry to Padstow, renowned as an old traditional fishing port and of course for the many restaurants of TV chef Rick Stein. Or visit nearby locations of Port Isaac (featured in the TV series Doc Martin) Port Quin, Tintagel and Boscastle. Further afield; the Eden Project is only 40 minutes away. Or visit the towns of Truro, Bodmin and St Ives.

Rock is a great place to start and walk along the sands and the many coastal paths with wonderful views out to sea and across the bay.

Our closest town is Wadebridge which benefits from 3 supermarkets, a wide variety of shops, local leisure facilities and is the main base for the Camel trail that runs from Bodmin to Padstow. The trail can be walked or you can hire cycles for adults, children and even your pet! A real must to do.

Bed Linen, Towels and Tea Towels are included as well as Gas and Electricity (Not Beach or Pool Towels). 

Prices are per week and run from Saturday to Saturday. In quieter months there is greater flexibility with the dates and we may consider short breaks. There may be occasional SPECIAL OFFERs.

Set in the grounds of an old manor house, St Minver Holiday Park, near Rock, offers plenty of opportunities to explore Cornwall and it's lovely fishing ports and nearby villages. With an enchanting woodland setting in close proximity to 3 glorious beaches, including Rock Beach, Polzeath and Daymer Bay, there’s something for everyone.

Let off some steam in the sauna or make a splash in the indoor pool. See what you can discover on the nature trail or take a woodland walk with a stop off at the charming St Minver village.

The picnic area is perfect for al fresco dining, or if you fancy heading out, try the Pizza & Steakhouse Restaurant.
