Book for the new season
Our lovely comfortable caravan. Double glazed throughout with full electric heating. The caravan is situated in a quiet area of the site with ample parking and lovely views of the sea and Cromer pier. Upto 2 dogs are welcome at no extra cost (with prior arrangement).Please don’t leave alone in the van. The caravan is non smoking and vaping. Our caravan has 2 bedrooms one double and a twin,both have fitted wardrobes and cupboards with electric heating. Bed linen is provided and beds made up or you can bring your own. Please provide your own towels. The comfortable lounge area has ample seating and a pull out dining table. There is a Freeview tv ,Dvd player and radio,plus a choice of Dvds.The kitchen has a double oven 4 ring hob,new microwave,fridge,kettle,toaster etc. Ample cutlery and crockery. Outside there is a large gated decking area ideal for dogs a table and 4 chairs,folding chairs,windbreaker etc can be found in a storage box. Gas and electric is included in the price.All gas appliances are fully serviced with a copy of current certificates in the welcome folder. WiFi is available at extra cost through Camping Connect.There is a coin operated launderette on site. The fantastic dog friendly beach is a 5minute walk away.The wonderful towns of Cromer, Sheringham and the Georgian town of Holt is just a short drive. The village has 3pubs with 2 serving food,a chip shop and a well stocked mini supermarket. Maximum occupancy 4 guests,upto 2 dogs allowed. Guests to abide by the site rules. Access from 3pm departure by 10am Saturday to Saturday. £100 non refundable deposit required to secure your booking the remaining balance paid at least 6weeks before arrival date. Payment made by bank transfer or cheque. 5% discount on 2 week bookings.
The Gap Caravan Site is located in a fantastic position, footsteps away from the beach, on the cliff tops of East Runton in North Norfolk, just over a mile away from Cromer town centre.
The park has remarkable views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Cromer pier, church and lighthouse can also be seen from most parts of the site. There is a slope opposite our entrance which goes straight down to East Runton's very own Blue Flag beach, leading to hours of fun to be had building sandcastles or searching for crabs in the rock pools at low tide. East Runton also offers two pubs, a Greek restaurant, Fish & Chips and a convenience shop. Within waking distance is the town of Cromer, with it's Blue Flag sandy beaches, famous pier, Church, numerous cafes and shops, museum, cinema and the end of pier 'Seaside Special' shows. There is also a train station which runs direct to the fine city of Norwich, which is 40 minutes away.
Sheringham, a short five minute drive away, is another busy seaside town. It has the 'Splash' Leisure Pool as well as beautiful gardens to see at Priory Maze and Gardens. There is also the opportunity to hop on the North Norfolk Steam Railway to take a ride to the Georgian town of Holt.
Whatever time of year you choose to holiday at Gap Caravan Park you are bound to find plenty to see and do and one thing is certain - one visit is never enough...
