The Gap, East Runton, Cromer, Norfolk (Ref.111836)

Private 2 bedroom, 4 berth, caravan on a lovely site 2 minutes from the sea. Sea view from the saloon window and the decking. Dog friendly (our dog spends hours looking out the window at the sea). Our Norfolk nook.

1 x bedroom with double bed, 1 x bedroom with twin beds. There is a pull out bed in the saloon too, but we don't recommend it...
We provide duvets and pillows. You bring sheets, duvet covers, pillow-cases and towels. We also provide cleaning materials and equipment including washing up liquid, laundry powder/liquid, tea-towels etc. Just ask if there is anything you want to check is available. 

The caravan is fully equiped for cooking and eating, with a built in oven and hob, under-work-surface fridge with small freezer compartment, and a microwave. All equipment has up-to-date safety checks/certification. There are books and board games and beach toys which are ours but all of which you can use.

The site is in East Runton, on the Norfolk Coast between Cromer and Sherringham. It is possible to walk to either, along the beach or along the coastal path. There is a coastal bus service, and also a bus that runs to Norwich. East Runton has a general stores shop, a variety of pubs, and an outstanding fish and chip shop, all of which are 2 minutes from the caravan. Other food outlets pop up through the summer.

The Gap is a family caravan site, generally quiet, not a place for parties, which are in fact prohibited in the site rules.

Wi-fi is available to purchase from the site.
Parking is right next to the caravan.
The on-site laundry room is close by the caravan.

The van is not new and is therefor not shiny. Everything works though. And one more dog bite on the sofa won't lose your deposit.

We have decided to not employ valet cleaners between rentals as we prefer to keep the price low. This means however that:
a) You need to clean the caravan thoroughly before leaving. This is a condition of renting.
b) There is a risk that the caravan will not have been cleaned when you arrive.
c) We charge a damage deposit which will be passed on to anyone turning up to a really messy caravan.
 

25% reservation deposit payable to confrm booking.
Full payment required 4 weeks prior to booking start.
£100 damage deposit, returnable on inspection of the van following rental.

Arrival time on Saturdays is 14:00, departure time 12:00noon, but these can be negotiated depending on the needs of arrivers and departers.

Duvets and pillows are provided but no sheets, pillow cases or towels. Reasonable gas and elecictrity use is included in the rental fee. Apologies, but the Gap site does not permit car charging from caravan elecricity supplies. 

The caravan is not currently being valet cleaned between bookings, which keeps the price down, but does rely on each renter leaving the caravan clean and tidy for the next renters. Cleaning materials are provided. Details of what is expected can be found in the Handbook in the caravan.

When you arrive, if the caravan is not clean and tidy as set out in the Handbook, photographic evidence will secure a rebate.

Small well behaved dogs are welcome.

The caravan is strictly no-smoking or vaping. Also no incence or air-fresheners and no naked flames such as candles.
