THE CARAVAN
Our caravan on St. Minver Holiday Park, sleeps up to six people and has three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, overhead cupboards, a wardrobe and a USB port. The other two bedrooms each have twin beds, although, in one of these, the beds can easily be put together to make a double bed. They too, have overhead storage, a wardrobe and drawer unit.
The lounge has a four-seater and a two-seater settee, an electric fire and double doors that open out onto the front decking. It has a TV and DVD player.
The fully fitted kitchen includes a built-in microwave, oven, extractor hood, plus a large integrated fridge freezer and plenty of storage space.
The shower room has a shower, wash basin and toilet. There is also a second toilet with a hand basin.
To the rear of the caravan is a south-west facing, secure, decked area backing a field, complete with a table and 6 chairs. There is wraparound decking with a bistro set on the front to catch the morning sun. Parking is also provided for 2 cars.
PLEASE NOTE: A double quilt and 4 single quilts are provided, along with pillows. However, bed linen (quilt covers, base sheets and pillow cases) are NOT PROVIDED, but can be requested for an additional charge.
Towels and tea towels are NOT PROVIDED.
Electricity, gas and water ARE included in the price.
Parkdean Resorts St. Minver Holiday Park is located in the wooded grounds of an old manor house in Wadebridge, North Cornwall. On site facilities include a large indoor pool, sauna, indoor and outdoor seating area, and full changing facilities. Also on the park is a launderette, shop, children's play area, pool table, crazy golf and a pizza and steakhouse restaurant (serving Costa coffee) with a bar, free Wi-Fi and takeaway food. There is an amusement arcade and a showbar entertainment club on site too, which offers a full and varied programme for both children and adults.
Park Hub passes for the swimming, entertainment and kids' clubs, can be purchased from the reception area. In 2025 these are priced as follows:
OFF PEAK- £7.20 for 6 days or less and £8.00 for over 6 days. Under 2's free.
PEAK- £13.50 for 6 days or less and £15.00 over 6 days. Under 2's free.
Parkdean have installed free Wi-Fi across the park; Park Connect is the free browsing Wi-Fi service which includes messaging, emails and online shopping across 3 devices. To access Wi-Fi you log on as a 'Parkdean Customer' and create an account. Alternatively, there is a premium Wi-Fi service that can be purchased. Please note however, this is subject to signal availability, which cannot be guaranteed.
NEARBY
The closest villages are St. Minver and Pityme. There is also a local pub in Pityme.
Our caravan is approximately 2 miles from Rock, which lies on the Camel Estuary, opposite Padstow (a ferry operates between them). In Rock you can learn to sail, water ski and windsurf, or enjoy a coffee or wine at the numerous bars/restaurants.
There are a couple of golf courses (Roserrow and St.Enodoc) close to the park too, as well as many walks.
A short distance away by car (approximately 10 minutes) is Daymer Bay, where you’ll find calmer waters for swimming and windsurfing. Also about a 10 minute drive is Polzeath Beach (no dogs) which is well-known for its surfing. Both beaches have car parks and Polzeath offers surfing lessons and surfing equipment for hire.
The local town of Wadebridge has 4 supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Co-Op and Lidl), a wide variety of independent shops, a small cinema, restaurants, cafés and local leisure facilities. It is also the main base for the Camel Cycle Trail that runs between Bodmin and Padstow.
NOT SO NEARBY
Further afield you can get to the Eden Project in around 40 minutes and The Lost Gardens of Heligan in 50 minutes. Or visit the towns of Truro, Bodmin and St Ives within the hour.
FAMOUS CORNWALL
You can visit Padstow, a fishing harbour famous for the many restaurants and shops of TV chef Rick Stein. Or visit the nearby location of Port Isaac, featured in the TV series Doc Martin and more recently the film 'Fisherman's Friends'. Poldark was filmed in numerous locations close by too, including Bodmin Moor, Charlestown (St. Austell), Truro and St.Agnes. Looe has been used for the filming of 'Beyond Paradise'.

In PEAK season (i.e. school holidays) lets are only from Friday 4pm to Friday 10am. Shorter stays (i.e. 3/4 nights) are available out of season.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Due to allergies and asthma, we do NOT allow pets into our caravan.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
A deposit of £50 per week (or part week) is to be paid on reservation without exception. This deposit is non-refundable. The balance of the holiday is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total payment is due in full upon reservation.
Very late bookings, less than 10 days, will warrant immediate payment by BACS transfer only.
Confirmation of payments will be sent by email and directions and key instructions with the final receipt of payment.
Security deposit – An additional £100 per week security bond is required with the full balance paid via BACS(bank transfer). The £100 will be returned in full through BACS provided the terms and conditions have been adhered to and there is no damage to the caravan.
CANCELLATIONS
Please inform us in writing or by email if you have to cancel. We will then try to re-let your dates. If successful, we will refund your booking deposit. This applies to any cancellation regardless of when or why it was made. It may be advisable to take out a cancellation insurance policy.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are above 21 years of age at the start of the holiday.
2. No same sex groups under 25 years old.
3. The hirer is responsible for the caravan as signed and stated on the booking form.
4. All changes to a booking form are allowed only by prior agreement with the caravan owner in writing.
5. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form as well as all guests and visitors.
6. The hirer must give access to the caravan if reasonably required by the caravan owners or Parkdean staff or agents.
7. The caravan owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give a reason.
8. The caravan owners shall not be responsible for death, consequential or otherwise, or personal injury to the visitor or any member of his/her party.
9. Visitors must accept full responsibility for their own personal property at all times. The owners have no liability over the visitor’s personal property that may be lost or damaged in the course of the visitor’s occupancy.
10. We operate a NO PETS and NO SMOKING policy within our caravan. Please do not leave cigarette ends outside the caravan area. If it is detected that people have smoked within the caravan or have had pets in the caravan, your security bond will not be refunded as an additional deep clean will be required. CANDLES and other flammable objects are also NOT permitted in the caravan.
11. The visitor shall keep the caravan and all the furniture, fittings and effects in the accommodation in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday and shall leave the accommodation in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. The visitor is responsible for all damage or loss to the accommodation and contents during their occupation and must report such damage or loss to the owner and pay appropriate compensation to the owner before departure. (See note on security bond)
Please note for small individual breakages such as a glass, plate etc, these will not be classed as damage and will not affect your security bond, however please can you inform us of any breakages or replace them so that we can ensure that they are ready for the next visitors arriving.
12. The charging of electric or hybrid vehicles using the caravan electrical source is not allowed on park.
Pick-ups, commercial or working vehicles including vans are NOT permitted on the park.
13. Electric scooters, hoverboards, quad bikes, segways or similar are NOT permitted on park.
14. Occupancy must not exceed the maximum stated on the website i.e. 6. If the maximum number of persons is exceeded without prior arrangement with the owner, the owner may refuse or revoke the booking. No refund will be made to the visitor. If it is brought to our attention that whilst using the caravan that more than the number of guests has increased or is above 6, you may be asked to then vacate immediately.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Normal time of occupation is after 4pm on the arrival day. Any delay by the visitor must be notified to the owner. Departure must be by 10.00am on the departure day.
INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
The information on the website is believed correct when published. While we make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of descriptions, the owner cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein. The visitor must accept that minor differences between illustrations and the actual properties may arise. The property owner reserves the right to make modifications to the property specifications that are considered necessary in the light of operating requirements. In the interest of continued improvement, owners may alter or remove furniture, fittings, amenities or facilities advertised or previously available without prior notice. If material changes occur after the visitor’s booking is confirmed, the owner will advise the visitor.
