Andromeda (Plot 222) is set in the wonderful forest within the award-winning Kelling Heath Holiday Park on the North Norfolk coast. It was named by the previous owner after the Andromeda Galaxy which is the nearest galaxy to our own Milky Way. Dee first saw the Andromeda Galaxy with her naked eye from this very spot through the gap in the trees.
If you are looking for peace and tranquillity surrounded by nature then Andromeda is the place for you. Deer, Squirrels and various other wild life are often seen around the holiday home and around Kelling Heath Park.
Our holiday home is situated along the fourth right-hand drive after you turn in to Kelling Heath Holiday Park from Sandy Hill Lane. There is a very tall Cypress Conifer tree on the corner of the drive.
A short walk through the forest will bring you to the fishing pond (A licence is required and available from the site shop) and to Kelling Holt on the Poppy Line (This is a request stop only, Please refer to the Poppy Line timetable)
Another short walk will bring you to the village square where there is a well stocked shop, swimming pools, health and fitness club, two bars, a restaurant and a Pizza takeaway or eat in area, just past the square there is also a bicycle hire centre. Please note:- There may be a small charge to use some of these facilities.
Of course there is also so much more to do and see outside of the park with the famous Sheringham and Cromer towns just a short drive or train ride away.
If you are looking for a self-catering holiday in Norfolk, in a place of peace and quiet then you need look no further, "Andromeda" is the place for you.
The stunningly dark sky here, with no light pollution, is every bit a part of the natural surroundings as the stately trees in the forest. On a perfectly clear night the Milky Way itself is dazzling as it fills the night sky.
This delightful holiday home is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty at the Kelling Heath Holiday Park. A nature reserve in all respects where the beautiful, natural woodland, heath land and wildlife are all cherished and protected.
Andromeda (the caravan) is on plot 222 which is in a pretty and quiet wooded area only a brief stroll or cycle ride to the Village Square where all the park facilities are situated.
GOOD QUALITY BED LINEN, TOWELS AND KITCHEN TOWELS ARE PROVIDED. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN POOL AND BEACH TOWELS. Included in the cost is water, gas, electricity, cleaning.
For weeks other than school holidays, a per-night basis may be possible. Please enquire.

Andromeda Hire Terms and Conditions
General
This is a legally binding contract between the property owner, "Colin Smith" and you the "Holidaymaker". The property owner is also referred to as "we" and "us".
The holidaymaker is the person who signs the booking form or, in the case of online booking, the person who makes the online payment. This person is responsible for ensuring all members of the holiday party accept and adhere to these terms and conditions.
The holidaymaker is also referred to as "you".
The property referred to being Andromeda.
The booking is taken on a provisional basis until the deposit has been paid in full and funds cleared through the banking system (where appropriate). The booking then becomes confirmed. Until the booking is confirmed, it can be cancelled at any time without prior notice.
Bookings
A booking deposit of £100 is payable within 7 days of the provisional booking being taken.
The balance of the rental charge, along with the breakage deposit, (£100) is payable not less than 4 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Failure to pay the deposit or balance in full by the due dates will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the holidaymaker.
Please be sure to note the due dates of these payments as reminders are not routinely issued.
Bookings made less than 4 weeks prior to the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation of the booking by the holidaymaker should be made in writing and emailed for the attention of Colin Smith to:- Andromeda.kelling@gmail.com.
In the event of a cancellation, we will attempt to re-let the property and if successful, a discretionary payment may be made.
However, we strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Cancellation by the Property Owner
The property owner will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event the property becomes unavailable and the property owner has to cancel the booking, the holidaymaker shall be entitled to a full refund.
The property owner shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.
Bookings may also be cancelled due to changes in Government Regulations and/or Kelling Heath's operations which would be out of the owners control.
Miscellaneous
Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, over time, alterations are made and some things do change.
The holidaymaker accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.
The property owner or confirmed representative reserves the right to enter the property, at a reasonable time, in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.
The property owner is entitled to ask the holidaymaker to leave the property without any refund if, in the property owner's opinion, the behaviour of the holidaymaker and/or his/her party is unacceptable.
The property owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, who in the property owner's opinion is not suitable to or capable of taking charge of the property.
The property owner reserves the right to ask the holidaymaker and their party to leave the property, without refund, should the behaviour of the holidaymaker and/or their party be considered by the property owner to be unreasonable.
The property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the holidaymaker or the holidaymaker's party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the holidaymaker.
A non fireproof combination safe is available for use but the property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the holidaymaker or the holidaymaker's party left in it.
Children must be supervised at all times. No Child under the age of 18 can be left without adult supervision.
Although Andromeda is positioned within the Kelling Heath Holiday Park we have no control or responsibilities over what Park Facilities would be available/operational during your holiday dates.
We would like to think the holidaymaker and party would treat Andromeda as they would their own home and at the end of the holiday Andromeda is left in a clean and tidy condition. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should Andromeda not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of the holiday. A vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials are provided for your use.
Number of Guests
The maximum number of people entitled to stay at this property is 4 and furthermore, only those people named on the booking form are entitled to stay. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and the holidaymaker and his/her party may be asked to leave immediately without any refund. Sub-letting or assignation of the let is strictly prohibited.
Pets
No pets are allowed in the property either by the holidaymaker or any visitors.
Smoking
Andromeda is strictly a NON Smoking Van & Pitch.
Arrival and Departure Time
Every effort will be made to have the property available from 16:00 on your day of Arrival. The property must be vacated by 09:30am on the day of Departure. Late departure will result in an additional charge being made.
Information about keys and how to collect them will be provided once full payment has been received.
Breakages
The holidaymaker should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday. Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported to the property owner (or their representative) prior to departure. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for any damage or breakages.

In these circumstances, it is the responsibility of the holidaymaker to make any such problem known to the property owner (or their representative) immediately it becomes apparent, thereby giving the property owner the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.
Return of Breakage Deposit
Your breakage deposit, minus any deductions (if required), will be returned to you after your departure date.
Complaints

Set amongst 300 acres of woodland and rare open heathland in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Kelling Heath is also very close to the North Norfolk coastline at Weybourne. A wonderful environment in which you can relax and enjoy activities together with children, family and friends with miles of woodland and heathland trails for walking and cycling, or simply enjoying the diverse range of wildlife and the many species of birds. Kelling Heath also offers a range of recreational and leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor pools and tennis courts (Facilities maybe seasonal and subject to membership). The Village Square buzzes with activity especially during the evening when the Folly or Terrace plays host to a variety of traditional entertainment.
