The weather was very wet this week but we still got out and about. 
With the high winds sat in the car and watched the waves. Blackgang Chine for ‘Fiesta of the Dead’. Alum Bay was quiet but my girls enjoyed the chair ride down to the beach. Sandown pier 2p machines - crazy golf - ten pin bowling. We will be back. Thank you

Lovely, homely caravan. Everything we needed. A great location for exploring the island. Great fun had at Shanklin many times. Fav beaches: Freshwater, Priory beach and this one on site.
We have had a few sunny days throughout the week, braved the showers and enjoyed watching the waves crashing in.

We had the best week and are well and truly shattered lol, always the sign of a good holiday I think! So much so that I’ve actually come over feeling quite poorly so am taking it easy for a few days. Our kiddies are so excited at the thought of us coming back next year, they love it as much as we do!
And no worries about the loo, we’re just glad it was a quick fix for you!

AUGUST - Returning FAMILY, WITNEY
Email - Am happy to report that we had another great holiday in the IoW, as we had no teens with us we explored a bit more and tried a few things we had not done/been to over the past few years. It was a bit busier this time, but not enough to cause any issues except not being able to book a couple of meals out, and the weather was pretty much great the whole week so we spent more time on the Whitecliff Bay beach.

Went to the Garlic Farm for the first time which we liked plus Compton Bay beach and tried the following places for the
first time Sandown Beach Boulevard, The Spyglass Inn, The Wight Mouse Inn – all very good and we will definitely return.
We also went back to our favourites The Dairyman’s Daughter, Lu Shan Chinese, House of Spice Indian and Fisherman’s Cottage in Shanklin and the Propeller Inn all of which were good as always. We also revisited old favourites like IoW zoo, Monkey Haven and Amazon World (we are animal lovers) plus the Botanic Gardens. Also did a lot more walking this time…
So thanks for the caravan again, not sure what our plans are next year as we are planning to visit my family in Australia next August but if that does not pan out we will probably return but I will let you know. Thanks,

- Having stayed previously in this caravan & indeed also Barefoot on the Beach I would highly recommend. This time my Grown up daughter & her partner shared with us along with my elderly father Everything you might need is provided for it is very clean & comfortable with lovely hot showers The site it’s self is lovely with beautiful views & very well maintained not to mention the fantastic beach just a small walk from the caravan The owners are very helpful & always go beyond providing useful information for places to see & good food recommendations Although the weather was mixed we thoroughly enjoyed our stay again having been many times before & hopefully will be back soon.

Email: Brief message we are home now. We had wonderful stay & we're fairly lucky with the weather. Delayed ferry back but not a problem. It's such a special place & never disappoints. Email: we had a lovely stay in Reflections the last few days. the weather was not the best, but the caravan was cosy and well appointed and it was lovely to see the bay at a different time of year to usual. no pressure for the summer sun to be shining! we managed a bbq on the beach and daughter had a three minute splash in the sea in her wet suit... after which we admired the intrepid body boarders from the comparative dryness of the sand. had some wonderful cliff walks, saw the night fisherman on a quick visit down to the beach in the dark, and otherwise just chilled in your lovely van. little things made it the best one we've stayed in at Sandhill... the shoe rack, key hooks, lots of hooks on doors, and the plentiful radiators. great instructions on how to use everything and lots of handy games, etc.

Guest book: After many years of bringing my wife's parents on holiday to IOW this year has to be the best. The whole week with fabulous weather, beautiful scenery and as always a great caravan, clean, comfortable and well equipped!!

Email: Needless to say that once again we had a wonderful time. The weather was incredible wall to wall sunshine everyday :) happy As always the caravan was very well equipped for all our needs and spotless. I must admit I had my reservations due to the location of Reflections 3 mainly due to its position near reception, however totally unfounded, we were not disturbed by traffic or lots of people passing at all, in fact the position was perfect for my parents as no up hill walk to the plot, and so much easier having two toilets, as you know we always travel with my parents both in their late 80's now. 
Earlier in the year I did not think my mom would be able to make it this time, as she had a bad fall last year, resulting in medication which makes it difficult to walk due to swollen feet, dad also has a mobility problem - but both made it down to Wonky Cafe on several occasions to enjoy breakfast at the beach - absolute heaven . The beach is my favourite lovely walks with dad each evening , so natural and unspoiled. 
We visited all our favourite places albeit a little more sedately, The Abbey, The Flour Mill, even went for a return visit to Osborne House,
and as a special treat enjoyed champagne afternoon tea at the Royal Hotel in Ventnor, what a treat in the sunshine, absolutely fabulous.
We all love the site at Sandhills, and would have no hesitation in recommending any of your caravans (will post a review ) we all returned relaxed and rested best medicine ever for my mom & dad 
We may even make a return visit later this year, perhaps September dependent on my husbands work commitments, but if not possible already looking forward to our annual trip next year.

Lovely clean caravan; very spacious. Thank you for your little memory present, it's a shame about Friday being a complete wash-out with the weather. The views of the sea was fantastic. The siting of the Queen Mary was superb. It's a shame about the lady on reception being so rude when we arrived. Would most likely come back but unfortunately IOW is not very disabled friendly

Review: I envy you if you are in whitecliff bay now, it is the most beautiful bay on the island. Your caravan is wonderful especially with that fabulous view from the window/deck area. We were not particularly lucky with the weather, but that did not stop us from having a lovely time. The beach walks are still beautiful even on a cloudy day, and of course clouds don't stop the kids from playing outside and making many new friends whom they are still communicating with via social networks. Our stay was very memorable and I hope to return sometime in the not too distant future

BOOKING TERMS
A non-refundable deposit secures a booking in either of our caravans.
- £100 p/week July and August
- £75 short breaks & all other months.
- Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to holiday commencement please, together with a £50 p/week 'holding' deposit against damage that will be returned to you soon after you return home, if all in order.

DISCOUNTED FERRY OPTIONS
Red Funnel or Wightlink from Southampton or Portsmouth, just let us know the approximate times you'd like to travel, we'll quote the discounted rates, and when you're happy with time & price, we will book it for you. The Isle of Wight is a beautiful and exciting island to explore - and your holiday starts with a 'cruise'!

COVID REFUND POLICY:
- All monies will be returned if we are unable to offer your holiday because of Government Covid restrictions, otherwise Sandhills Holiday Park terms & conditions apply

If you'd like to holiday with family or friends, our 2-bedroom "Barefoot-on-the-Beach" offers you additional accommodation. They are within walking distance of each other and both are equally well-equipped, have wonderful sea views and decking.

Family-run SANDHILLS HOLIDAY PARK is set in an AONB and has 4 Rose Award stars. Their professional staff are on hand for queries or local knowledge, and as you're booking direct with us, you have peace of mind that "Reflections-3" and "Barefoot on the Beach" are to the standard as described, with little extra's that make them feel like home.
