This welcoming caravan is a well-equipped home-from-home caravan with gas central heating and a full-size fridge/freezer. 

Two bedrooms with double and twin single beds.

Entrance to the North side of the beach is about 200 yards from caravan. The other entrance, the South entrance, is down by the large social club (which has a room just for adults and a larger room for families where entertainment is held), a convenient well-stocked shop, yummy chippy, a laundrette with huge washing and drying machines and a site office with helpful staff. The caravan is in a nice quiet spot away from all the central activity but still within easy reach of it (about 600 yds).

Lyons Sunnysands - Barmouth is a site where you'll want to come back to year after year.  It has everything you need for a great holiday, including entertainers, sky sports in the club, a little Cafe which does a great English breakfast if you don't fancy cooking - and there's a great play area for children. The large Amusement Arcade has lots of machines and games. There is also a welcoming warm indoor swimming pool which has private cubicles, lockable lockers (for £1 returnable), babies pool section, four showers and an on-duty attendant or two at all times.

*Children under 14 must have an adult with them in the swimming pool.

To use the swimming baths or social club you need to purchase the wristband from the site office. (Details in next section).

At Lyons Sunnysands, the sun rises from behind the mountains and sets over the sea, - both are usually amazing!

Barmouth town is about 4 miles away, and there's a taxi service from the campsite for those who need one. In the caravan and in the office there are lots of tourism brochures with amazing places to visit.

'Home/Caravan' Deliveries can be made from Tesco's, Co-Op, Iceland and others if you need it... although the shop onsite has a great supply, including freezer produce.

The surrounding areas include:-

Harlech Castle - just about 4 miles away.

Porthmadog – a seaside shopping town with Tesco’s, Lidl’s and Aldi.

Port Merion (memorable day out and great food available in restaurants and outlets).

Fairbourne - which is a nice drive out.

Blackrock Sands - with the amazing drive-on beach.

Shell Island – (our favourite day out for a picnic).

The Slate mines with café and gift shop.

Children's animal farm.

Lots of lakes and waterfalls to explore... and so much more.

Thank you for considering our caravan in Lyons Sunnysands Caravan Park, Barmouth.

When making a booking, a £100 deposit is required to secure it.
This deposit is separate from the booking fee and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation within less than 28 days of rental.
When you leave the caravan is inspected, and your deposit is refunded if the caravan is left clean and un-damaged. Deposits are refunded by bank transfer.

All of rental fee must be received 28 days before arrival, otherwise the caravan is liable to be re-let with loss of monies paid.

We will endeavour to have your accommodation ready for your occupation by 2.30 p.m. on arrival date. This time cannot be guaranteed however, if there are rare extenuating circumstances beyond our control. On departure, checkout time is 10:30am.

THIS IS A SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY. WE DO NOT CLEAN THE ACCOMMODATION AFTER YOUR USE. WE DO HAVE PEOPLE TO INSPECT THE CARAVAN BEFORE DEPOSIT IS REFUNDED.
PLEASE LEAVE THE ACCOMMODATION IN A CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION - (INCLUDING POTS, PANS, COOKER, FRIDGE, AND MICROWAVE) READY FOR THE NEXT OCCUPANTS. IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE THE VAN CLEAN OR CAUSE ANY DAMAGE YOUR DEPOSIT OF £100 WILL NOT BE REFUNDED BACK TO YOU.

NO dogs allowed.

You can purchase a leisure wristband from reception upon arrival to have full access to the facilities, including daytime & evening entertainment and the swimming pool. These wristbands will cover up to six people for the duration of your stay if you get a family one at Peak Season for £70, (Off Peak is £60) - but you can buy individual ones for £15. If you do not want to use the Social Club or the Swimming Pool – there is no need to get a wristband.

Strictly No Smoking allowed inside caravan, but there is a large decking.

No extra persons allowed above permitted number for caravan. 
Max capacity is 6 people (including children, but not including babies under 1).

We and Lyons Sunnysands cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to private property or accident to any persons, however caused, whilst staying on the park. Children must be supervised at all times.

We and Lyons Sunnysands cannot accept any responsibility for the breakdown or malfunction of any equipment in any accommodation but will endeavour to repair or replace the equipment as soon as possible. 

We and Lyons Sunnysands reserves the right to enter into any accommodation at any reasonable time for the purpose of checking condition, or repairs, or any emergency. 
We reserve the right to refuse any booking for any reason expressed or otherwise. 
We reserve the right to evict anyone causing a nuisance or damage, without refund. 

All persons staying on the park must conduct themselves at all times with due regard to the enjoyment and comfort of others. Dogs must be on a lead at all times, and bins are provided throughout the park for disposal of doggy bags.
Please ensure you are courteous to other around you who, like yourself, want to enjoy their holiday.
If any valid complaints are made, you will not be allowed to hire the van in the future.

In the event of loss of keys to the van a charge of £100 will be charged for replacement locks.

We are not responsible for site facilities not working or being repaired. Entertainment will be on according to the time of year of your stay. During quieter times there may not be any entertainment in the Social Club.

IMPORTANT* Bare Quilts (x1 double and x2 single) and plenty of pillows... are available to use, however; you must take your own pillowcases, sheets and quilt covers to use whilst you are there.

Please also take your own Towels. There is a laundry on site.
Anyone found not to be using linen will be charged £50 cleaning charge.

You are welcome to use any equipment which is in the van however, any damage, removal or loss of equipment will result in a loss of deposit.
Please ensure when you leave the van it is securely locked at all times to protect the van and your possessions.
We do not accept any liability for loss of your personal possessions. You are responsible for the caravan at all times during your stay.

PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILET. THIS INCLUDES “FLUSHABLE WIPES”, CLEANING WIPES, SANITARY PRODUCTS, EARBUDS, COTTON PADS etc.

All users of the park must observe these conditions and any regulations and byelaws applying to the park made by the local authority. Anyone in breach of any conditions may be asked to leave the park and no refund given of money paid.

Ther are two 22kw electric car charging points now available for public use on Lyons Sunnysands. They are located behind Reception next to the café.
Speed limit in the park is strictly 10 MPH.

There is also an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on the Park. It is located on the wall of the Reception, next to the staff entrance and post-box (as shown in the picture) It is under 24-hour CCTV and is in a locked cabinet. Should you need to use it in an emergency, the 999 operator will tell you the code to unlock the cabinet and access the defibrillator.

Sunnysands Caravan Park is situated on the shores of Cardigan Bay, three miles north of Barmouth, Mid Wales. From the windows of the caravans you can look straight ahead to Cardigan Bay, westwards across Tremadoc Bay to Pwllheli and Bardsey Island, southwards to Barmouth and the Cader mountain range and Northwards away into Snowdonia. Behind the park lie the Ardudwy mountains.

The pinelog swimming pool has an adjoining toddlers splash pool and solarium. In the Amusement Arcade there is a selection of games machines and prize Bingo. The Lobster Pot Fish 'n' Chip Take-Away and Pool Side Coffee Shop provide meals from breakfast to late evening. The site shop is open every day for all your household needs, including fresh milk, bread and newspapers. The site also has a launderette, post box and telephones. Boats can be launched with direct access from Park to beach.
