The caravan is modern and spacious with double glazing and central heating which means it can be used all year round.

 The living has an "L shaped"seating area with plenty of room for six,there is Freeview T.V. and DVD player with a selection of DVDs, books and board games for stay-in days also Wi-Fi can be purchased from the shop , in addition to the central heating there is a built in elecric fire

.The Kitchen is fully equipped with 4 burner stove,oven and grill, large fridge freezer, microwave and toaster also a full range of cooking utensils, pots, pans etc.

The large bedroom has a double bed,large wardrobes and drawers. The smaller bedroom has 2 single beds a wardrobe and drawer,also there is a pull out double bed in the living area. There are duvets and pillows for all the beds but you will have to bring your own bed linen(duvet covers, pillowcases and bottom sheets etc.) and towels.The bathroom has a large shower, heated towel rail, sink and toilet.Also provided is a travel cot and high chair.

We welcome 2  dogs free of charge (dog bowls are in the caravan ) but not on the beds/furniture please.

Outside there is an enclosed decking which can be locked allowing dogs to safely sit outside and seating and table for six people, the parking for one car is directly in front of the caravan and a bike store is to the side if you wish to bring your own bikes.

Smytham Manor is a family run park which is open 50 weeks of the year. On site there is a small shop (limited opening in the winter months),launderette also a bar and outdoor swimming pool (seasonal opening). You have a large paddock to exercise dogs and a footpath which leads to the famous Tarka Trail.

£100 deposit to secure booking, balance payable 6 weeks before holiday starts

Caravan will be available from 3pm on day of arrival and departure is 10am.

Smytham Manor is a family run park situated 2 miles south of Great Torrington on the A386 Okehampton road. The Park is centrally located for exploring the whole of North Devon, or even further afield. Dartmoor is only half an hour away, and Westward Ho! is just twenty minutes by car.

You will approach Smytham along its private driveway which runs between fields and is partly hedged with Rhododendron and lined with Beech, Oak and Chestnut trees, then the Park’s twenty three acres of landscaped grounds will open out before you.

Contained in its own secluded valley the grounds consist of extensive grass areas with attractive shrubberies which extend towards the woodland ponds where you can always find a peaceful spot to just sit and enjoy nature.  

With the low density Holiday Home development occupying a small proportion of the Park, there is plenty of open space for recreation.

The Park offers a solar heated outdoor swimming pool and sun patio sheltered within the old walled garden. For the children there is a games room, outside play equipment, and outdoor games Kid's can even bring their bikes to enjoy all the open space.

Further afield there is lots to do within easy reach, golf courses, fishing, horse riding and water sports to name a few, as well as walking and cycling from the park on the Tarka Trail.  Your evening can be completed in the new bar with its welcoming and friendly atmosphere. or just sit out and enjoy the relaxing peace that is Smytham Manor.
