This caravan is in a very quiet area of the site and enjoys fabulous views of East Runton beach all the way down to Cromer Pier from its spacious decking. A perfect place to enjoy peaceful al-fresco dining. Please note the storage boxes shown in the photographs will be removed from their current positions! There will be one available to you with beach items that you are welcome to borrow during your stay. As you enter the caravan, there is a roomy hallway with doors off to both bedrooms (one twin and one double) and the bathroom. The bathroom has a thermostatic shower with a seating area in the cubicle, sink with vanity unit and toilet. There is a Jack and Jill door through to the double bedroom which is spacious with plenty of room each side of the bed, bedside cabinets and lamps.
mattress and pillow protectors are provided, and changed between hires. Duvets and pillows are also provided.....please bring your own covers and bottom sheets. Please also bring your own towels for the bathroom and beach, and tea towels.
The kitchen is very well equipped with full sized gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle. Due to the width of the caravan (12 feet) this is really noticeable in the kitchen with an extra worktop leading over to the dining table and seating. The lounge area has a large comfy curved sofa with great. views of the beach out of the front window. The caravan has gas central heating throughout plus a gas fire in the lounge, and modern double glazing.
Please note that we do NOT allow dogs to stay in this caravan.
We do have another caravan available to hire on The Gap, number 78, which is dog-friendly.
We also now have 59a available which is a huge caravan right at the front of the site if you find walking difficult.
There are now several fabulous eating choices in the village of East Runton.....
Thai food (takeaway or eat in) at The Fishing Boat, a traditional pub with lovely almost secret beer garden around the back.
The White Horse offering traditional dishes with a sophisticated but not pretentious twist in newly renovated surroundings. Fab Sunday lunches including a mixed meat option.
Harrys Sports Bar... the place to be if an important sporting event coincides with your stay at The Gap! It has the hugest screen you'll ever see in 8K quality.
Smithy's Street Food found at the entrance to the site, open 4-7pm days May vary, serving generous portions and amazing burgers using fresh food.

A booking deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking to secure the dates requested. Payment of the balance plus £50 breakage deposit is due 8 weeks before arrival date. Please request a copy of the T&Cs applicable to this caravan for full details, although these will be sent out with booking form to be read through prior to booking.
The Gap Caravan Site is located in a fantastic position, footsteps away from the beach, on the cliff tops of East Runton in North Norfolk, just over a mile away from Cromer town centre.
The park has remarkable views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Cromer pier, church and lighthouse can also be seen from most parts of the site. There is a slope opposite our entrance which goes straight down to East Runton's very own Blue Flag beach, leading to hours of fun to be had building sandcastles or searching for crabs in the rock pools at low tide. East Runton also offers two pubs, a Greek restaurant, Fish & Chips and a convenience shop. Within waking distance is the town of Cromer, with it's Blue Flag sandy beaches, famous pier, Church, numerous cafes and shops, museum, cinema and the end of pier 'Seaside Special' shows. There is also a train station which runs direct to the fine city of Norwich, which is 40 minutes away.
Sheringham, a short five minute drive away, is another busy seaside town. It has the 'Splash' Leisure Pool as well as beautiful gardens to see at Priory Maze and Gardens. There is also the opportunity to hop on the North Norfolk Steam Railway to take a ride to the Georgian town of Holt.
Whatever time of year you choose to holiday at Gap Caravan Park you are bound to find plenty to see and do and one thing is certain - one visit is never enough...
