Welcome to our dog friendly luxury caravan called “Driftwood” situated on the Freshwater Beach holiday park in Burton Bradstock, Dorset. 

Located in the Oasis Court area of the park, sited in a prominent position offering fantastic sea views and countryside, making it the ideal place for a relaxing holiday.

Driftwood is a 38ft x 12ft caravan 6 berth van with great views from the Lounge and decking area and close to all amenities including the Bridport golf course.

The van is double glazed with central heating and an electric fire.

This beautiful accommodation has 2 bedrooms, one master bedroom with a king size bed, an en-suite bathroom, plus plenty of wardrobe and storage space. There is also a dressing table with mirrors and enough sockets for the essentials.

The second bedroom has two single beds with wardrobe and mirror.  This can handily be converted to a double bed.  Quality duvets and pillows are included along with mattress protectors.  The beds are all made up for your arrival with quality bed linen.  The only thing we don’t supply are towels, so please bring your own.

The kitchen diner has table and chairs accommodating 4 people.  All the essentials you need are provided, including a microwave, gas cooker and 4 ring hob, full size fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and pots and pans.  Crockery, cutlery and glasses some mixing bowls and kitchen utensils. Just let us know if 6 people will be filling the caravan and we can provide the extra 2 chairs required.

The Lounge has fitted furniture and cupboards giving plenty of seating capacity, the large L shaped sofa incorporates a sofa bed if 6 persons are staying at the property.  There is a flat screen Smart HD TV provided with newly installed WIFI included at the property.  The TV has all the ports required if you need to bring gaming consoles.

In the fitted cupboards, you will find a variety of books, board games and puzzles to keep you and the children entertained should you need.

Outside, there is parking for 2 cars, on a tarmac driveway and a small, gravelled garden area with steps to the enclosed gated decking area.

The Verandah seats 6 comfortably at the outside table and chairs which are provided for that al-fresco dining experience with the added addition of a Kettle BBQ to use if required on the gravel area.

NB: May we kindly ask that if using the BBQ, you leave this as you found it.

Dogs are welcome in our van (up to 2 well behaved dogs) please disclose the breed when making your initial enquiry.  However, pets must NOT be left unattended in the caravan.  Park rules also state that pets are to be kept on a lead at all times.  Please also keep dogs off the furniture and remember to bring a dog towel with you for drying them off 😊.  Please note that there is an additional charge of £25 per stay for dogs this just covers the extra time for cleaning whether it be for one or two dogs we don’t charge per dog.

ENTERTAINMENT

Entertainment passes are included for you to use which gives you fantastic access to all pools, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gym and club facilities and entertainment.

We kindly ask that you leave them in the van on the kitchen table when departing for the next guests to use.  Failure to leave these will result in £10 per pass being deducted from the returnable deposit.

Please note this is strictly a non-smoking caravan and any evidence of smoking or vaping will result in loss of the good housekeeping bond.

PARK FACILITIES

Freshwater Beach Park facilities, include a handy site shop which is fully stocked with all the necessaries and more, and at very reasonable prices.

Jurassic Fun Centre – This is where you will find the onsite hair and nail parlour, The Rolling Stones bar and restaurant, alongside a ten bin bowling alley (For the bowling facilities, this is an added cost payable to the park) a small fun arcade area and the indoor pools including slides, with access to the outdoor swimming pools (the outdoor pools are seasonal dependant on weather).

Just outside the park entrance there is a bus stop on either side of the road where you can catch the X53 bus to either Weymouth or the opposite direction to West Bay, Bridport town and it will also take you to Lyme Regis and as far as Axminster.

PARK RULES state that no charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on the site, the electric supply cannot cope with the demand, guests found doing this will be asked to leave the site.  These are the parks rules.  Charging points can be found in Bridport at Morrisons car park and other sites are available nearby.

A £100 non refundable deposit per week is required in order to secure your holiday (due within 5 days of booking)

The balance is due 6 weeks prior to your holiday date, unless a last minute booking when it will be required in full at time of booking if less than 6 weeks

When paying the holiday balance a good housekeeping bond of £100 will also be payable.  This bond covers any breakages or extra cleaning which may be required but will be refunded shortly after your holiday once the caravan has been checked following your departure.

Check in time on the day of arrival 3.30pm onwards

Check out time on day of departure must be vacated by 10am

Due to park rules, we cannot take groups under 21 years of age, nor stag/hen parties.

No more than 6 people can occupy the caravan.

Freshwater Beach Holiday Park is located in the South West of England in the beautiful county of Dorset. Spend a wonderful seaside vacation on the coast, making the most of the private beach. There is also a Golf Course (not part of the park itself, but adjoining the site).

You can hire caravan holiday homes or pitch your tent, tourer or motorhome in our camping fields.
