Terms & Conditions of Caravan Hire
By booking your stay in our caravan, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully
to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

General Terms

Occupancy & Named Guests: The caravan is strictly limited to 6 people maximum, including children and infants.
Only the 6 individuals listed on the booking form may occupy the caravan. Subletting or allowing
additional/unregistered guests is not permitted and may result in cancellation without refund.
No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the caravan. Please use designated
outdoor areas and dispose of waste responsibly.
No Pets: Pets are not permitted in the caravan under any circumstances.
No Party Groups: We do not accept bookings from same-sex or mixed-gender groups (e.g. stag or hen parties).
Exceptions may be made at the owner’s discretion — please enquire before booking.
Eligibility to Stay: In line with Parkdean Resorts' guest policies, we cannot accept private bookings from anyone
who would not be eligible to book directly with Parkdean. For full details, visit parkdeanresorts.co.uk.
Park Rules Compliance: All guests must follow Whitley Bay Holiday Park’s rules and regulations. See the
Behaviour Standards section below for expectations. Serious breaches may lead to removal from the park.
Entertainment Passes: Entertainment passes must be purchased to access Parkdean’s facilities, including the
swimming pool, arcade, and family entertainment venues. These passes are not included in the price of your stay
and must be obtained directly from reception upon arrival. 2025 Prices (per person): Off-Peak: £10 (7 days), £9
(less than 7 days); Peak: £18.50 (7 days), £16.65 (less than 7 days). Children under 2 may not require a pass –
please check with reception. Prices are set by Parkdean and may change.
Private Letting Disclaimer: This is a private rental agreement between the lead guest and Whitley Bay Escapes
(Mr Gary Forster and Mrs Brenda Forster). We are not affiliated with Parkdean Resorts. Parkdean is not
responsible for any aspect of your booking, and all communications, payments, and agreements are strictly
between us and the named lead guest.
Prohibited Vehicles: The following vehicles are not permitted anywhere on Whitley Bay Holiday Park: Electric
scooters, segways, hoverboards, quad bikes, or similar devices; Pickup trucks, large vans, commercial or work
vehicles. Guests arriving with prohibited vehicles may be refused entry or asked to move the vehicle off-site.
Electric Vehicle Charging: Charging of electric or hybrid vehicles directly from the caravan is strictly prohibited.
There are no EV charging points on site. Please use public charging stations in the local area.
Security Deposit: A £75 security deposit is required and must be paid at least 7 days before your arrival. This will
be refunded within 7 days after departure if the caravan is left clean, tidy, and undamaged. Deductions may apply
for breakages, damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning.
Check-in / Check-out: Check-in: from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of
departure. Late check-out or early check-in must be agreed in advance and is subject to availability

Payments

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost
of your holiday.

The full balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. If booking is made within 6 weeks, full payment is required at the
time of booking.

Cancellations & Refunds

Guest Cancellations:
More than 6 weeks before arrival: refund minus admin fee (£25)
Between 4–6 weeks: 50% refund
Less than 4 weeks: no refund, unless rebooked
Medical Cancellation: Written GP evidence required within 7 days for possible refund (less £25 fee)
No Shows / Early Departure: No refund in any case
Owner Cancellation: Full refund or rebooking offered. We are not liable for travel, insurance or third-party costs.
We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance for any unexpected issues.

Behaviour Standards & Park Conduct
All guests are expected to behave in a way that is courteous, safe, and respectful to other holidaymakers, staff,
and the park environment. You must not: - Cause distress, offence, or disruption to others on the park. - Leave
children unsupervised or allow them to pose a safety risk. - Bring or use illegal drugs, fireworks, firearms, or
weapons. - Engage in criminal activity or vandalism. - Make excessive noise, especially at night. - Allow anyone
on the Sex Offenders Register to stay or visit. Parkdean Resorts has the right to remove guests from the park for
any breach of conduct, without refund. As private owners, we fully support and enforce these rules to ensure a
safe, enjoyable stay for all.
