This is a lovely, well presented, double glazed and centrally heated caravan in which your dogs are welcome to join you on holiday.
Its location, just south of the historic market town of Narberth, is an ideal base from which to explore Saundersfoot, Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coast, National Park and countryside.
The caravan has one double and one twin bedroom, both with wardrobes and storage. A pull out double bed in the lounge takes the maximum occupancy to six.
Bedlinen and towels are not included, but the accommodation is supplied with duvets, pillows and mattress protectors.
A shower room has a toilet, large basin and roomy shower cubicle.
The open plan living area includes a kitchenette with: gas hob, oven and grill; sink with mixer taps and drainer; kettle; toaster; microwave and fridge. It comes with a good selection of cutlery, crockery, cooking pans, utensils and baking trays including corkscrews and cafetiere.
The lounge area has a large built-in corner sofa, coffee table, and free standing dining table and chairs. The storage units contain a small selection of books, local maps and tourist information, games and DVDs for use by guests
A flat screen TV is provided together with a DVD player. (The TV has Smart capability if you wish to hotspot, cast, or connect via a dongle (not supplied) as, although the accommodation does not have WiFi, mobile connection is good.)
The van has gas fired central heating with radiators, most thermostatically controlled, in all rooms and a timer on the boiler so that it can be set to your liking. There is also a built in coal effect electric fire in the lounge.
To the side of the van is a private, decked area which is ideal for relaxing, and is also appreciated by dog owners owing to it being fenced and gated! The outside store has comfortable outdoor chairs and a charcoal BBQ which guests are welcome to use. There is an outside tap for rinsing off your dogs after a muddy or sandy walk.
Car parking for one car is at the front of the van, with larger or second vehicles expected to park in the site’s ample car park by the main entrance to the site.
Allensbank Holiday Park is a lovely, small, family owned park with the owner living on-site. Most of the vans are owner occupied. The site’s elevated position gives stunning views of the landscape and sunsets! There is a well-equipped children’s play area opposite the caravan and, in the grounds – the site of the former Narberth workhouse – is a simple games room for table tennis, pool and darts. A small, unsupervised, but covered and heated swimming pool is available (via a simple booking system) when open between Mid-May and September. Subject to opening and availability these are available to guests at no extra charge. A coin-operated laundrette is also available on-site.
The holiday park is approximately 1 mile south of Narberth with its many independent retailers, eateries, boutiques and local services. The beautiful beaches at Wiseman’s Bridge, Saundersfoot, and Amroth are approximately 6 miles away with Tenby’s famous St Catherine’s Fort and Island, as well as its lovely harbour, town and beaches, being less than 10 miles way.

Bookings are made on the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Booking, Deposits, Payment and Cancellation:
The booking agreement is between Mrs Margaret Farrow (“the Owner”) and the Hirer. Only the Owner and the Hirer shall have any right to enforce a term of the agreement.
A booking deposit of 10% is payable to the Owner within 7 days of reserving the van, during which the van will be held for you. The booking is made only when the booking deposit has been received and the Owner accepts the booking and notifies the Hirer. If the Owner is unable to accept the booking the booking deposit will be returned. The Owner may decline, in their discretion, any booking. In particular, groups will normally be limited to those with a common family connection.
The balance of the Price must be paid to the Owner at least 28 days before the arrival date. If the balance has not been paid by the due date the booking will be treated as having been cancelled, and the accommodation may be re-let to someone else with the loss of the booking deposit paid.
If you need to cancel the booking you must do so in writing. Cancellation will take effect when received by the Owner. If cancellation is within 28 days of the Arrival Date, or you cut your stay short, there will be no refund. Earlier cancellations will forfeit the deposit. Additionally, unless the Hirer has notified the Owner of alternative plans, the Owner may treat the booking as having been cancelled if the Hirer does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date. You are advised to obtain holiday insurance against liability for cancelltion.
A security deposit (against damage to or loss of the accommodation or its equipment) of £50 must, additionally, be paid to the Owner before arrival. It will be returned to the Hirer (less any reasonable deductions) within 7 days of departure.
2. Arrival and Departure
Arrival is from 2pm on the Arrival Date. The key is found in the key safe outside the van. Departure is by 11am on the Departure Date. On departure the van must be left ready for the next occupant: clean and tidy with all equipment returned to its original location and all rubbish must be removed from the accommodation and deposited in the park’s bins. Heating (if used) must be turned off, the fridge must be emptied and switched off (with the door left ajar), windows closed, the outside store and van locked, and the key returned to the key safe.
3. Use of Accommodation and Caravan Park
The accommodation is only provided for use as holiday accommodation. Only those notified to the Hirer may occupy and use the accommodation overnight.
The accommodation includes a private decked area with access to outdoor seats and charcoal BBQ. Pillows, duvets and mattress protectors are supplied along with cleaning materials. The Hirer is asked to provide their own bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi. Parking for one car is at the front of the accommodation. Larger, or second, vehicles are to be parked in the main car park. Any reasonable requests of the caravan park owner must be complied with, this includes: observing the site speed limit and, in accordance with Welsh recycling legislation, properly sorting rubbish before disposing of it in the park’s bins.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the van. The Hirer is expected to give appropriate consideration to the enjoyment of other users of the site and so any behaviour which causes a nuisance or unreasonable disturbance to other site users, or using the accommodation or site for illegal purposes, is not permitted. The Hirer shall be held responsible for their own behaviour and that of party members and any day guests. Any breach of this paragraph may result in immediate curtailment of the booking without refund.
Use of site facilities including: bar, games room, laundry, play area and (Mid-May to September) swimming pool is subject to availability and the caravan park owner’s conditions (although no refund will be given if any of these facilities are not available).
The Owner reserves the right to access the accommodation at reasonable times for the purpose of necessary repairs or emergency.
4. Owner’s Liability
The Owner will not be liable for death or personal injury to the Hirer, party members or any day guests, unless directly due to the Owner’s negligence. No liability will be accepted for any loss, theft or damage to their property. The Hirer is advised to take out appropriate insurance in these respects.
If the Owner cannot perform her obligations due to an event outside of her reasonable control including (without limitation): severe weather event, fire, outbreak of disease, natural disaster, closure of the park or civil commotion her liability will be limited to a refund in proportion to the number of nights of accommodation lost.
5. Dogs
If booked, one or two dogs may share the accommodation. Other animals, and dog breeds covered by the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, are not permitted. Dogs must not be left unattended or unsupervised at any time, and must not be allowed to cause a nuisance (eg excessive barking) to other site users. They must be kept on a lead when outside of the accommodation and any fouling must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in the appropriate bin. Dogs are not allowed in the play area. Any fouling accidents in the van must be cleaned up immediately and the area treated with an appropriate cleaner. The Hirer will need to bring their own dog beds and bowls. Please do not allow dogs in the bedrooms and please use the throws provided to cover the seating.
A small family owned and run caravan park a mile south of the fashionable former market town of Narberth.
Close to the famous Pembrokeshire beaches and the Preseli hills, ideally situated to cater for all your holiday needs.
Close by is Oakwood Theme Park, award winning Folly Farm, Bluestone's Blue Lagoon, Heatherton Park and Manor Park amongst others.
