Sunnyvale, Kinmel Bay, Rhyl, Denbighshire, North Wales (Ref.110485)

This is a 2020 willerby twin unit lodge with a front sea view pitch on the new Porth Cariad development it is a 3 minute walk from the lodge to the beach.  The lodge is fully double glazed and has full central heating.  In the living room it has two free standing settees one is a 3 seater and the other is a 2 seater, with a 55 inch smart TV wall mounted with the facility for a games console, an electric fire and intergrated bluetooth speakers in the ceiling.  The patio doors lead out onto a full wrap around decking with ample seating both front and back for the family with a secure gate.  In the dining room there is a table and four chairs.  In the kitchen there is a separate fridge and freezer and a microwave, kettle, air fryer and toaster along with an oven and separate hob, it also has a washing machine and dishwasher.  In the main bedroom there is a kingsize bed with an ensuite which consists of a toilet, shower and basin, there is a walk'in wardrobe and a 55 inch smart TV situated on the bedroom wall The secord bedroom there are two full size single beds, a walk' in wardrobe and a 22 inch wall mounted TV.  The main bathroom has a bath and shower, with a sink basin and toilet.  The gas and electric are included in the price and all bedding is supplied along with towels and tea towels.  This is a no smoking/vape lodge but you can smoke/vape outside and well away from the lodge to respect others.  One small and well behaved dog is allowed but must not be allowed on the furniture or beds, it cannot be left unattended in the lodge and as per park policy must be kept on a lead at all times around the park and all poop must be picked up and disposed of in the correct location. there is a spa and gym onsite as well as a galley bar that does some lovely light bites and drinks. Free wifi is also supplied.

Sunnyvale is located beautifully on three sides by water and in front a beautiful beach with direct access from the park.  There are also two nature reserves with an array of wild birds and an abundance of local flora and fauna, we are also close to Rhyl harbour where you can hire all fishing equipment required for a day’s fishing out at sea.  Close to the park there are two local pubs which are child friendly and one dog friendly both doing great value meals, close by within walking distances there is a bike hub where you can hire bikes both conventional and electric bikes next to the coffee hub doing a wide and varied range of coffees.  A fifteen-minute walk and you are in Rhyl where you have the sun centre 2 and a tag activity water park inside.  There is a Vue Cinema, crazy golf and the sea aquarium with a variety of daily shows.  A ten-minute drive and you are at Tir Prince market selling everything you would need along with a small fair and carriage racing during the season on a Friday night.  There is a local Aldi, B&M, The Range, Farm Foods, Asda, and Costa Coffee and numerous take-aways.  A forty-minute drive and you are in Snowdonia National Park with activities for the whole family such as go-ape, zip world and surf Snowdonia.

We require a £100 deposit and your deposit is refundable within 48 hours of the lodge being inspected after your departure, if there is no damage or breakages and the lodge is clean and tidy as you found it.  If the damages or breakages exceed £100 this will be chargeable to you and will need to be paid within 28 days. You will lose your deposit if you cancel the hire of the lodge within 6 weeks of your arrival. Due to unforeseen circumstances and in our experience (COVID) it is advisable to take out holiday insurance for as little a £5.85 covering your weekly stay in case you have to cancel, or we have to cancel your booking.

Sunnyvale enjoys an enviable location surrounded on 3 sides by water and considered a mecca in North Wales for water sports, fishing and boat enthusiasts. The beach is long and sandy with direct access from the park. There are two nature reserves to the east and west of our boundary, with a stunning array of flora and fauna. Boat launching and storage nearby at the beautiful fishing harbor, where chartered trips along the coast can be booked.

Within walking distance to the multi million pound developed Rhyl promenade, which boasts attractions such as SC2 a brand new water park with the UKs largest Tag Active, Vue Cinema, Seaquarium with live seal shows conservation programme and sea life exhibits, The Pavillion which hosts a wide range of variety shows and flagship 1862 restaurant. There are countless restaurants on our doorstep including cafes, pubs, take-aways a fairground, a market which means plenty for the family to do off the park.

Within a short drive, there is Snowdonia National Park, a stunning mountainous area with beautiful villages and breathtaking scenery and walks to enjoy. Within the National Park area are located world renowned adventure activities, such as GoApe, Surf Snowdonia and Zip World to name but a few. Something for all ages and abilities.

Sunnyvale, although a small, quiet park, has a children’s adventure playground, all weather sports pitch and The Galley Bar.
