Waterside, Torbay, Paignton, Devon (Ref.110801)

Our  holiday home is situated on a large, grassed area at Waterside Holiday Park and faces towards the SEA for the perfect view.  It has spacious dimensions and of a high quality, well designed layout, double glazing and central heating, so whatever time of year you take your holiday you will be able to relax and enjoy the fantastic Sea View and steam trains as they pass by in comfort. The coastal path has easy access to walks to Goodrington, Paignton or in the other direction to Broadsands and Brixham. Plenty of places for refreshments on route. Buses run regularly from outside the park to all the surrounding areas.  

The kitchen is fully equipped with full size fridge freezer, gas hob, grill and oven, microwave, toaster, kettle,  crockery, cutlery, utensils and plenty of storage space.  Electricity and gas is mains supplied,  no further costs to you.

Spacious dining area,  good size table and 4 comfortable chairs with a view towards the sea and outside area.

Spacious, comfortable Lounge with free standing sofa bed and two arm chairs [one that rotates], televison, DVD, cupboard and shelf unit, coffee and side tables, plenty of lighting options and sockets, electric coal effect fire for extra warmth when required.  Wi-fi internet.
Patio doors open out on to the extensive decking with additional seating to make the most of the sea views and watch the sailing boats and sea life in the bay.

Main Bedroom: has a King size bed,  double mirrored wardrobe with drawers below, single wardrobe with drawers below, dressing table and an en suite.

Second Bedroom has two single beds with a wardrobe and drawers, additional storage above the beds, bedside cabinet  and a large mirror.

1 King, 1 double & 2 single duvets and 6 pillows are provided,  linen is not provided, so please remember to bring your own  linen; sheets/duvet covers and pillow cases, towels and tea towels etc.  Bed linen can be ordered in advance [2 weeks] from reception if required.

Bathroom has a full size bath with a powerful shower. The thermostatic taps have a safety button, ideal for young children.  
Bathroom cupboard with shelves above. Large mirror with light, above the sink, close coupled toilet.  Boiler is located in the bathroom concealed by a cupboard but has easy access for heating controls when required.

Outside: An extensive non-slip decking to the front and all along the side of the caravan with outside lighting, equipped with table and chairs.
Enjoy the sea view and relax during the day and in the evening to see the glorious sunsets.

Onsite facilities include a brand-new indoor swimming pool/jacuzzi, Restaurant, traditional English pub style, entertainment venue, passes are required to use the pool and are available from reception for a small charge per person.

From our caravan  there are spectacular views of the South Devon coastline and the ocean, where there is always something of interest to see.
The Dartmouth steam railway linking Paignton to Dartmouth along the coast of Torbay, passes by Waterside Park, we have a great view from our caravan.  Coastal walks on our door step,  leading to  Goodrington Beach, Preston, Torquay in one direction  and Broadsands Beach, Brixham in the other direction.  Lots of activities for ages at the Blue Flag beaches with refreshments and parking. There are local small coves to explore.  There is a regular bus service outside Waterside entrance, No. 12 that will take you to Brixham or in the other direction, Goodringon, Paignton & Torquay.  Many other buses available to travel further that can be picked up from Paignton, along with the Steam train.

Seaview Retreat is in a prime location on Waterside Holiday Park to enjoy everything on offer or just relax and watch the world go by.  It is in the heart of the English Riviera, there are so many places to explore and visit to make your holiday a memorable one. We have many repeat bookings and excellent feedback from couples and families who have stayed at our caravan over the years.

1.  A deposit of  £50 is required to secure the booking for each week.
2.  The balance of payment to be paid in full, 2 months before the start of the holiday or in full if a late booking.
3.  Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque.
4.  A £50 security bond (refundable after checks have been made) will apply to all bookings, payable with final payment.

From its elevated position, you will enjoy stunning views of the Torbay coastline, and it is close to the fabulous beaches and attractions of the famed English Riviera. Stay at Waterside and you can take a trip to beautiful Goodrington Sands and Broadsands, award winning Blue Flag beaches, ideal for swimming exploring rock pools and other water activities.  Cafes with outside and inside seating to enjoy the views. They can both be accessed either by walking on the coastal path or by car.

On the park, you'll find an indoor swimming pool and jet pool, along with a bar and restaurant which takes influence from the style of a traditional pub. During the summer, you can sit back and enjoy the scenic views of the bay on the raised terrace which is the perfect space for al fresco dining. Some entertainment is provided during the holiday season and various activities for the families to take part in.

Waterside is renowned for its amazing setting, along with the famous Steam Railway that borders the park. With easy access out onto the headland, guests can walk through the tunnel under the Steam Railway to remarkable views of the Torquay coastline and coastal paths great for  walkers and hiking. It’s all here in this ideal Devon location.

The wonderful sights come courtesy of the hillside location. There is parking close to all the caravans.  There are regular bus services outside the park, which will take you to all the surrounding areas.
