A spacious lodge(456 sq feet), only 4 years old, with uninterrupted views of the sea to the front and the cliffs to the side. Situated on a friendly family run site on the North Somerset coast, it has accommodation for up to 6 people. Free parking next to the Lodge. Gas central heating, double glazing and well insulated. Access to the beach on the Somerset Jurassic coast and to coastal path.
The Lodge benefits from nearly 200 square feet of wrap around decking to the side and front (with glass panels at corner to maintain views) creating a relaxing area to enjoy the sun and sea views. Inside the lodge it is light with 2 sets of floor to ceiling glass tri fold doors opening onto decking and large windows. The large L shaped sofa creates a wonderful viewing area and houses a double sofa bed.
The lodge has the following facilities: Double bedroom with a king size bed, wardrobes, dressing table, mirror, en suite. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, wardrobe, bedside table. Lounge with sofa/divan bed, coffee table, flat screen TV. Fully equipped kitchen/dining area with dishwasher , kitchenware, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, oven, dining table. Bathroom with shower. There is a large decking area with 4 glass partitions on the corner to maintain uninterrupted views across the bay and has a patio table and chairs.
The lodge is set in 20 acres of grounds in St Audries Bay Holiday Club (A winner of the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards 2021) at the foot of the West Quantock hills, an area designated of outstanding natural beauty. It benefits from the following facilities: A large indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, table tennis, putting green, snooker, boules court, launderette, licensed bar, large restaurant, all day coffee bar, shop, games room and children's play area.
Nearby are extensive National Trust grounds and unspoiled villages. It is less than 20 minutes to Exmoor National Park. Taunton, Minehead and Bridgewater are the nearest large towns.
Duvets, pillows, pillow protectors and mattress protectors are provided but guests to provide own bedding and towels. Note: Access to the lodge is via steps so is unsuitable for wheelchairs
The site makes a levy of £20 for an adult and £15 for a child pw for club membership giving access to all facilities
