Seaview, Whitstable, Kent (Ref.110463)

We have only listed this, our "Seaside Escape" since last year, the park was letting it for us very succesfully before. But we are now organising it ourselves, it is as a Platinum Spec and is in great condition (see pics), from the feed back we have had, everyone that stayed has been really pleased with it....(check out the reviews)

Where dates are marked "Reserved," these are for people that are flexible and can move their break if someone wants to make a firm booking for those dates, so please ask if any of those dates would be your first choice.

In the meantime a couple of points of interest...

The Swimming Pool is heated and they do seem to keep it quite warm. Its open from early April and I remember from the last couple of years, it takes a week or so to get up to the temperature they maintain it at. Its great to have a swim even if its not the best day, or even if its raining!
From 9 - 10am it is adults only so you can have a good swim or just have a relaxing poodle about in the nice warm water without kids splashing around. It does not have a deep end and depending on your height, you can walk or stand for the whole length of the Pool. There is also the Kiddies shallow pool as well, for the younger ones.

The living area is very roomy, lots of space to spread out and or move around as you can see in the pictures. The centre of the angled seating area pulls out to make a Double Bed, so there is plenty of room around it when its made up. The TV is 32inch, so a reasonable size, there is a DVD player to use, along with a few DVD's in a drawer for rainy days or quiet nights with nothing on Freeview. There are also a few jigsaws and games to play.

There is a Dolls House in the living room, we got it for when our Grandchildren stayed over in the winter period, but have decided to leave it there for any other kids, of all ages, to play with. There is no furniture in it, just some random people and pets, the idea was they brought their own toys and just played with them in the house. We thought any other kids staying will bring toys to play with, so can just use them in the house while they are there.

The Kitchen is also roomy, with a reasonable bit of worktop space and enough room for two people to comfortably move around in it. There is a good sized built in 50 / 50 Fridge Freezer, so plenty of room to put food in etc, including if you buy some frozen stuff while staying. We make sure there is enough Coffee Tea and Sugar to get you started with a drink when you arrive, and will put a pint of milk in the fridge as well.

The table & four chairs is a good sized round one and in its own space, without encroaching into the kitchen or living room area.

The main bedroom is more roomy than most and has a Dressing Table with a stool to sit on and a big mirror for hair and make up. There is a socket, at table height for plugging in anything that may be required. There is an en-suite toilet & basin and there is a lot of hanging and storage space for clothes etc. Along with cupboards each side of the bed above and below. There is also a small wall mounted TV above the dressing table. There is an iron in one of the wardrobes and we will be seeing if there is room to fit an ironing board in as well. There is now an Ironing Board in one of the wardrobes, it fits..

The Bathroom has a good sized walk in shower with shelf space inside to put lotions and potions on while in there. The Bathroom Mirror has a light above it for shaving and make up etc and there are hooks for hanging towels and washbags, plus a pull cord extractor, to remove steam from the shower or anything else.....

We will look at any length of stay from 2 to 14 day breaks. We can book 7 days from a Monday to Monday, instead of the Friday to Friday, as shown on the availability list, if that would be better for you. For any other combination or length of stay, please feel free to ask, just use the inquiry form.

For Groups, we wont accept Hen or Stag parties, but friends having a getaway together are perfectly acceptable. From our own experiences, meeting up with our friends in Holiday Parks like this around the country, are what made us get this Holiday Home. So if you are classified as a group, please make contact to confirm we will be happy to accept a booking.

Located right on the beach between the popular seaside resorts of Whitstable and Herne Bay.

The park’s facilities are centred around the main entertainment venue and we are continually working to make this venue EVEN better for our new holiday guests. With so many places to visit, you will probably want to spend most days touring the garden of England. Famous castles, fishing ports, cathedral cities and dramatic coastal scenery are all within a short drive from Seaview.

Back on the park in the evening, join us for a warm welcome in the bar or a tasty supper in our cafe that will set you up for the brilliant entertainment, which is extra special at weekends and during the peak season.
