New to the holiday letting market this season is our 28’ x 12’ Arronbrook Clipper, 2 bedrooms, 6 berth static caravan.   The caravan is sited on a site in Trusthorpe on the Lincolnshire Coast between Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe.

The site has private access to miles of Blue Flag beaches and is adjacent to the Lincolnshire section of the National Coastal Pathway.  The location of the caravan on the site means that you are only a couple of minutes from the beach.

The caravan is south facing and has uninterrupted views of the fabulous sunrises that are so typical of this coastline. It is well appointed and nicely equipped with Smart TVs in the lounge and main bedroom and has its own private WiFi. There is gas heating in the lounge with blown air to the bedrooms and an electric panel heater/towel rail in the shower room.

The caravan is equipped with microwave, air-fryer, slow cooker, hair dryer and fan.There is also  a fan heater for supplementary heating if required.

Duvets and pillows are supplied but holiday makers are required to provide their own bed linen along with towels and tea towels. Car parking is generally adjacent to the caravan.

A single well behaved dog is very welcome - it would be such a shame to leave your dog at home when the site and its location provides such doggy perfection.

The site is walking distance from both Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea, pleasant traffic free walks between the beach huts.  Sutton-on-Sea has its own traditional charms while Mablethorpe provides more lively entertainment for the young at heart.  

Mablethorpe also provides the practicalities of supermarkets,Post Office etc.  and an abundance of takeaways!  It has a street market every Thursday on the High Street.

All this only metres away from the miles of Blue Flag beaches and a short drive to the Lincolnshire Wolds with some of the most beautiful, unspoilt scenery in the East Midlands. There are rolling hills and hidden valleys, gentle streams and nestling villages.  

Lincoln, Louth and Boston are easily accessible for an alternative day out.  Lincoln has its own special history, Louth is situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and is commonly known as the Capital of the Wolds.  Whereas Boston, an hour away, was the home of The Pilgrim Fathers before their Mayflower journey to Massachusetts in 1620 and so evolved New England and the Boston Tea Party.  

For those who really want the excitement of a fully featured coastal resort Skegness is half an hour away with Butlins and Fantasy Island.  

And don’t forget a trip to the Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre in Mablethorpe which offers a unique nature experience through two acres of landscaped dunes.

Payment terms

We ask for a £50 holding payment to secure the booking and is payable at the time of booking.. This will not be refunded in the event of cancellation and will be in addition to the booking fee.  However, this initial £50 will constitute the Security Deposit to be refunded as appropriate at the end of the booking.   See further details regarding the security deposit. 

The booking fee in its entirety must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the booking and this will be fully refundable up to this time.  For cancellations after 14 days there will only be 50% refund of the booking fee – see following paragraph.  In the event that the booking fee is not paid in full by the 14th day before the booking, cancellation will be assumed and the dates will be released.

Cancellations

For cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the booking, the booking fee is totally refundable.  Cancellation after 14 days will incur a 50% charge, however for a no-show on the day without prior cancellation there will be no refund.

Security Deposit

To secure the booking we ask for a £50 deposit which is payable at the time of booking and in addition to the rental fee.  For your convenience we ask that this deposit is paid by bank transfer, not cash – see our account details above.

The deposit will be refunded to your bank account within 2 working days at the end of the booking period with appropriate offsets for any breakages, extraordinary cleaning costs, etc.  To allow this to happen please let us have your bank details at some time during your stay. 

The Key

The Key for the caravan will be locked in a Keysafe which is on the side of the caravan steps. The current number for the Keysafe will be sent to you along with the directions to the caravan and the site, the day before your booking commences.

Linen

Bed linen, tea towels and towels are NOT provided. However, pillows and duvets are provided for all beds.

Pets - (Dogs Only) - Please let us know if you are bringing your dog with you

The accommodation is pet friendly to the extent of one well behaved dog but we respectfully ask that your dog is restricted from using furniture and beds. There is a throw to be used appropriately. Dog bowls are available under the sink.

Please be aware of the site rules regarding dogs i.e. always on a lead when on site and any fowling is to be cleared up immediately and placed in the red bins provided. 

Dogs must not be left in unoccupied caravans.

Cars

Parking is generally available adjacent to our caravan when ground conditions permit. When this is not possible alternative parking will be available in the parking areas on the site.  There is a 5 mph speed limit on the site. We ask that you adhere to this for the safety of families and their children.

Internet

Internet is provided via an EE mobile router inside the caravan. A 8GB allocation per day is felt to be reasonable and is included without extra charge. For usage above this there will be a charge mirroring the EE data package charge at the time - typically £10 per 20GB.  We cannot be responsible for breakdown/inconsistency in the EE Broadband service.  However, experience has demonstrated a reliable and consistent WIFI service.

The WiFi ID and password codes are in the Information Folder in the caravan. We ask that these are not disclosed to other parties.

Safety

For your safety and wellbeing we would like to make you aware that the caravan has safety certification for gas and electricity. There is first aid kit, thumb turn window opening restraints, cleats for blind cords, fire extinguisher and fire blanket. The caravan also has smoke and carbon monoxide censors – these are ceiling mounted

Seaside Caravan Park located in Trusthorpe, which is in-between Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea on the East Coast of Lincolnshire.

A small, friendly, family site with private access to miles of beautiful beaches. Facilities include an on-site launderette and a Children’s Arcade run by friendly Happy Days Seaside staff.
