Cosy Shepherds Hut on a Smallholding.

1 bedroom Shepherds Hut (built 2019) for hire with lovely views, located on a small holding less than 15mins from the castle town of Caernarfon, North Wales.

There is Caernarfon Castle & numerous pubs & restaurants to choose from (mostly dog friendly).The nearest pub  shop & bus stop is 1.7 miles from the property.

Sleeps 2 adult guests & 1 small sized, well behaved quiet dog (£15 charge ). The accommodation is unsuitable for babies or infants.

Double glazed, shower, toilet, heated towel rail, well equipped kitchen - small under counter fridge/freezer, microwave, elec cooker & 2 ring hob, toaster, sink and log/coal burning stove/ fire, also elec wall heater. Sofa, T.V., double bed, storage area for clothes. Small dining table & chairs. Pots, pans, frying pan & crockery provided.

Iron & ironing board, hairdryer and board games provided.

All electric & bedding inc. (does not include elec for charging an EV).

Towels & T-towels not provided.

Logs are £3 per basket for use in the multi fuel stove or on the fire pit outside. The first £3 of logs are stored ready for use under the Multi Fuel stove. Guests can help themselves to the logs and then place payment in the 'honesty box' inside the Shepherds.

1 bucket of kindling is provided free and 1 box of firelighters are provided free. There is additional kindling for sale in the log store for £2 a small bag.

A porch has been added Spring '26 with extra hanging space for coats etc

No smoking of cigarettes, E-cigarettes or Vapes on the premises/ small holding. Any smoking must be outside of the main front gate, thank you.

There is no Wi-fi in the Shepherds Hut, there is 4G.
The shepherds hut is situated in its own fenced off area (so suitable for a dog) with room for car parking, BBQ, fire pit and seating area.

Access to the small holding is via a 1.7 mile, mostly single road with lots of passing places. Once a booking is placed, I will then send detailed directions to the property and. 'PinDrop' that will bring guests directly to the front gate.

Neighbourhood highlights

Ideally located for beaches & scenic walks. 15 mins drive from the beach and 20 mins drive from the heart of Snowdonia mountains. The Welsh Highland Railway, Tryfan junction (request stop) 5 min walk away.

Fantastic area for walks & bike riding direct from the property or in the surrounding area, also many castles, beaches, lakes, horse riding, sailing, golf courses, National Trust properties all within easy reach of the property.

Lovely area for wildlife & bird watching, both at the property & locally.

Prices range from £72-£83 depending on time of year.

1 dog welcome £15 charge

A non- refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure the booking and the remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to start of holiday date.

A quiet smallholding  with horses, sheep, ducks and geese, overlooking green fields with far reaching views of the Irish Sea and Anglesey beaches.
