Booking Information – Moorhen Lodge
We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to Lincoln Lane Lakes! To help make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible, here’s a quick guide to our booking details.
Deposit
We ask for a £50 deposit when you book. This is fully refundable after your stay, as long as there’s no damage and no excessive cleaning is required.
Payment
The full balance is due 14 days before your arrival. If you book less than 14 days before your stay, we’ll require the full payment when you book.
Cancellations

More than 14 days before arrival – we’ll refund your deposit in full.

Less than 14 days before arrival – the deposit is non-refundable.
If we ever need to cancel your booking (which is very rare!), we’ll refund everything you’ve paid.
Arrival & Departure

Check-in: from 3:00 pm on the day you arrive.

Check-out: by 11:00am on the day you leave. You are welcome to fish for the rest of the day.
Guests
Moorhen Lodge sleeps up to 3 guests. Please make sure everyone staying is listed on your booking.
Fishing
Your stay includes fishing for up to 2 rods. Extra anglers are always welcome at our standard rates (£8 for one rod / £14 for two rods).
Pets
Well-behaved pets are more than welcome. Please keep in mind that we are next to a main road and the gate remains open during the day. Dogs should be on leads or longline tethers around the lake.
Smoking
We’re a smoke-free Lodge – thank you for keeping it that way.
During Your Stay
Please be considerate of other guests and keep noise to a minimum. If anything gets damaged or broken, please let us know. Excessive cleaning or damage may mean we have to keep part or all of your deposit.
Nestled on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Lincoln Lane Lakes is a hidden gem of a fishing lake just waiting to be discovered. The lake offers the perfect fishing experience. Stocked with carp, tench, bream, chub, perch, roach and barbel—some reaching up to 20 lbs—there’s always a good chance of landing something special.
Despite it's peaceful rural setting, it's incredibly easy to reach. Located just off the A46, you won’t have to navigate Lincolnshire’s notoriously tricky back roads—just a smooth, straightforward journey straight there.
Once on-site, you’ll be transported into the tranquillity of rural Lincolnshire, with views of the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds and a peaceful woodland entrance leading you into the heart of the fishing lake.
If you need a quick snack or a hearty meal after your fishing trip, you’re in luck! It's just a few minutes’ drive from supermarkets, local shops, takeaways, and welcoming pubs serving delicious, home-cooked food. Whether you’re after a grab-and-go bite or a sit-down meal, you’ll find plenty of great options nearby.
