The caravan is situated on a premier pitch in a quiet part of the site but in easy reach of the central facilities. There is an immediate access to the sand dunes or direct access to the beach across the site; the caravan also has direct access to the riverbank walks. There is a patio with tables and chairs and a clear view of the sea. We pride ourselves in the condition in which the caravan is maintained. The caravan has ceiling heating panels in both bedrooms. Freeview and a game-cube is now also available to improve the TV facility.
The Park is at the start of the coastal trail and fronts the sea of which there are extensive views. Access is immediate from the A189 out of Newcastle and there are several large supermarkets close to hand and also the town of Ashington.
The site is at the start of the Coastal trail, leading to places such as Bamburgh, Holy Island, Alnwick Castle [the Windsor Castle of the North - of Harry Potter fame] and the whole beautiful Northumberland Countryside. Also within easy reach is Hadrians Wall and a number of Roman sites. Berwick and Keilder Water are about 1.5 hours drive and Edinburgh can be reached in about 2.5 hours - alternatively InterCity trains can be taken from Morpeth [8 miles away] direct to Edinburgh for those who can't or don't wish to drive. For shopping, Newcastle is only 18 miles away and the famous Metro Centre a twenty minute ride. The Park also has a new multisports court.
