Relax on the sun-soaked balcony and take in remarkable views of Snowdonia from our quiet corner of the 5-star Glan Gors park at Brynteg. This secure family and dog friendly site offers well-maintained and spacious pitches, providing a peaceful and comfortable setting from which to explore the beautiful isle of Anglesey or the mainland of Snowdonia.

Our modern and well-equipped three bedroom caravan is fitted to a high standard, with the unusual benefit of a centre lounge providing particularly practical use of space. Help yourself to fresh herbs growing in planters on the balcony deck, and enjoy al fresco meals or a barbeque, using the six-seater table on the patio. The south east facing deck offers sun nearly all day, and, together with the patio, is fenced and secure for young children and most dogs. The park also uses card-operated electric gates, which are closed between 5pm and 8.30am, meaning you can relax in security and seclusion during your stay.  The caravan also includes its own driveway, providing parking for one large or two small cars.    

On site, you can treat yourself to an ice cream or coffee after using the indoor pool, or savour the outdoors whilst playing table tennis, using the games area and children’s play park. Adults can enjoy dedicated private morning swim sessions, work-out in the gym, or relax in the sauna. In addition to the barbeque, outdoor seating area and large balcony deck, our caravan is equipped with free and fast Wi-Fi, a TV with inbuilt DVD player and electric fire to provide comfort and interest in all weather conditions. 

Located just a few miles from the town of Benllech, you will be a stone’s throw away from sandy shores, stunning coastal walks, renowned eateries and well-stocked shops. The nearby range of beaches includes Benllech, Red Wharf Bay, Lligwy, Rhosneigr and Treaddur Bay, whilst popular cafes and restaurants are also abundant, including The Tavern on the Bay, The Marram Grass and the iconic Dylan’s.  The mainland is only a 6 mile drive away over the historic Menai suspension bridge.

There is plenty on offer for younger children including Pili Palas, Foel Farm and the Sea Zoo, whilst older kids can enjoy a wealth of different sports and activities such as surfing, horse riding and go-karting. Storws Wen Golf Club is within walking distance, whilst the local area also includes some wonderful gardens and historic castles to visit, as well as regular boat trips along the Menai Straits from Beaumaris or Caernafon. Normal lets are 7 days Saturday to Saturday. Shorter breaks of 4 or more nights can occasionally be arranged on request. At present there are no available dates before late July 2019. We are also unable at present to make confirmed bookings for dates after then, though we are pleased to receive enquiries. (August is all reserved, but some of the other dates marked as 'reserved' in the availability chart may become available.

Duvets and pillows are provided but please don’t forget to bring your own bed linen, towels, tea towels and beach towels.  If you are bringing a dog, please bring your dog’s own bed and food/water bowls.

We accept bookings for up to four adults or families with up to two adults plus three children although exceptions may be made on enquiry.  The maximum sleeping capacity of the caravan is six people. We do not accept bookings for groups under the age of twenty five please or non-family single sex groups except by special arrangement.

Standard stays are 7 days Saturday to Saturday, but short breaks of 4 or more nights may be available on request outside school holiday periods.

We accept at our discretion well behaved dogs, however if you intend to bring a dog please inform us at the time of initial booking as we are required to provide details to the park management. As an occupant of the caravan and Glan Gors Park you are required to comply with the following rules:

A maximum of two dogs are permitted. Dogs must be kept on leads whilst on site except for the dog field where caution should also be exercised as this is only partially fenced, has areas with access to the road, and is in a rural area where livestock will be found. All dog mess must be cleared up immediately and placed in one of the bins that can be found around the site. Dogs must never be left unaccompanied in the caravan at any time and should be kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. Dogs must not be allowed to be a nuisance to other users of the site or others in the area.

Payment

• A deposit of £100 or 20% of the full cost (if more than £100) with a completed booking form is required to secure your booking, with the balance payable 28 days prior to arrival.  A provisional booking can be reserved on initial enquiry.
• Bank transfer (preferred) and cheque payments are welcome.  We don’t have the facility to take card payments but can accept paypal payment by email.
• Your deposit is non-refundable should your booking be cancelled.
• A £100 damage bond is required with the final payment, which is fully-refundable after your stay, provided the caravan is left in a clean & un-damaged condition.

A nearby sandy beach gives you plenty of options for family days out on the beach swimming, playing games and to enjoy an outdoor picnic. Also with 5 of the island’s premier golf clubs all within easy reach, Glan Gors is the ideal base for anyone who enjoys a serious round or two with their friends.

If you don’t feel like straying too far from home, Glan Gors offers a host of options to keep you energetic and fit. These options include a fully equipped gym, sauna complex and luxurious heated indoor swimming pool. Meanwhile, the kids can let off steam in the children’s outdoor play area.

There’s nothing better after a fun filled day than returning to the peace and calm of Glan Gors. Here you can take in the sunset whilst enjoying the stunning views across the rural landscape to the Snowdonia mountains and beyond.

Local Area

There are numerous beaches to visit when you’re staying here so make sure you visit the stunning beaches Anglesey has to offer. Take your bucket and spade down to Benllech Beach or Lligwy Bay. Lligwy Bay was named one of the 10 Best Picnic Spots in Britain by Coast Magazine. Here you will be able to catch a glimpse of dolphins and seals!

There are endless activities to get up to when staying on Anglesey, there are some great fishing spots, Golf Clubs – we are within walking distance of Storws Wen Golf Club, you can go on boat trips, go-karting, horse-riding and even flying!

If your children like animals you enjoy a day out at the Pila Palas Butterfly Palace, Anglesey Sea Zoo or Foel Farm Park. There are fun centres and leisure centres in the area for your children to run around and have fun!
