This is our comfortable 3 bedroom caravan - Double Glazing and heating in each room. Large master with ensuite which can fit a travel cot in, a further small double and a large cross over bunk room. 2 shower rooms, light and airy central lounge. Large gated veranda with outdoor furniture.

Please note that our caravan is not new or centrally heated - however, it does have heating in each room linked to a control panel in the kitchen area plus supplementary electric oil radiators for colder days.

Whilst our caravan is not new we regularly update it - each year we review/renew curtains, bedding, rugs etc., plus the following can be found inside alongside the usual kitchen appliances: coffee maker, iron, ironing board, freezer box in fridge for small items.

Other extras include: * iPod Dock/Radio  * 26" TV with DVD Player    *flop out foam bed    *bed guard   *High Chair  *Board Games and Badminton, Rounders bat etc     *Small DVD library     *supplementary electric heating for cooler days  ** Hoover  &  microwave, toaster, kettle etc.

We provide multi use cleaner, air freshener, box of tissues, washing up liquid, bin bags, salt and pepper and vinegar. We just ask that if you use something up you replace it - a budget replacement is fine. This way all of our guests have some convenience.

We do ask for a security deposit. This is to cover any breakages or if the caravan is left excessively unclean. If this happens, we retain the deposit to cover our costs and extra visits to sort out the caravan. The cost of this deposit varies dependant on the number in your party, but generally is between £100 and £150. The amount will be confirmed at time of booking. Our caravan is checked regularly by a local trusted cleaner.

We also ask that our guests to please respect our family caravan. The caravan will be checked within 1-14 days of your stay (sooner if a new guest is due) and if the caravan needs excessive cleaning we will have to charge this back to your security deposit. Departure is usually 10.30 am.(Occasionally we can allow an 11am departure) 

We allow a maximum of 1 large or  2 small dogs for a fee of £15 per pet unless otherwise agreed as a special offer when you enquire - there are site rules that apply re breeds of dogs allowed and you must give full details at time of booking in order to receive an accurate quote. If there are only 2 people in your party, we will consider allowing 3 small dogs.

Summerfields Holiday Village has 4* and was taken over by Park Resorts (now Parkdean), in April 2015, with the Entertainment Centre fully refurbished during Winter 2015/16. The previous cafe is now a restaurant with waiter service - The Boathouse - and more variety of food on offer. The clubhouse has daily entertainment  plus bingo, sports bar,outdoor play areas, crazy golf, cafe, swimming pool, jacuzzi, solarium and sauna. Further improvements to the Park are expected each season. As with all sites, the amount of activity is dependant on the time of year, and we cannot guarantee facilities or entertainments will be open/on during every stay, as this is at the discretion of the site management.

In Scratby, just a few steps from the park, there is a fish and chip shop, shop, launderette, bakers, cafes, shops, and restaurant and the bus to Great Yarmouth stops at the gate. Scratby beach is 5 minutes walk and Hemsby beach is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive.

A ten minute walk takes you to California where you will find a great pub with good food and live entertainment, amusements plus California Chalet site also has a fish and chip shop, shop, swimming pool and other entertainment venues.

We only take bookings via email to ensure identity. You will be required to agree to our full terms and conditions via email before we will accept your booking.

All bookings are accepted ONLY if you accept our terms and the site rules. If you book it is deemed that you have read those terms which will have been sent to you via an internet link. Please be aware that this is not a new caravan. This is a well loved family caravan. We do not claim to be, nor do we offer, luxury or new accommodation. We also do not compete with the site for pricing - our prices are worked out based on current rental for caravans in the area, alongside the extras we offer and the unusual and large layout of our caravan - there are very few caravans our size or with a central lounge.

We no longer take same day bookings. We must give the site notice of your details in advance of your stay to comply with site rules.

Payment plans - i.e. payment by installments is possible and there is no extra charge for this service.

Non-refundable £80 deposit or 25% of your holiday cost, whichever is the greater, due within 48 hours of booking, unless otherwise agreed at time of enquiry. This will secure your booking and hold it for you.

Remainder of Rent is required 10 weeks before holiday or full payment if less than 10 weeks away.The security deposit is due 3 weeks before your holiday. This is £100 for up to 4 people, £150 for up to 7 or those with pets. Unfortunately we have had to increase this bond payment due to two instances where damage to the caravan/contents far exceeded the previous security deposit. We will refund your security deposit within 21 days of your stay - but often it is much quicker than this, within 7 days.

We only accept Paypal and Online banking for both rental and the security deposit.  We do not accept cheques or Paypal Cheques.

Gas and electricity is included but we do expect you to use these wisely. Meter readings are taken at the start and end of your stay.

One night bookings may be taken but a 2 night charge will be levied.

Passes:With effect from 25  May 2018 passes are included on new bookings. However, in order to do this, we will need to request information to pass to the site 3-4 weeks before your stay. We do not retain this information and it is shredded on completion of your holiday and return of your deposit following a satisfactory check of the caravan.

Below are the confirmed Club Membership Fees at Summerfields 2018 - this is for those guests who wish to use the facilities, such as entertainment centre and swimming pool. 

7th April - 22nd April AND 26th May - 8th September £71 per 3 bed unit, per week.

£48 per 3 bed unit, per short break.

All other dates £54 per 3 bed unit per week

£36 per 3 bed unit per short break

Please note: Our caravan is not adapted for the disabled, but as someone who is mobility impaired, the steps are negotiable with some mobility impairment, there is a small lip step in to the caravan from the veranda and the showers have a step of about 12 inches to climb into.

The sandy Scratby beach on the beautiful East Anglian coastline is just a short walk from the Park, where you can enjoy bucket and spade family fun and even take a dip in the cool ocean waters.

Summerfields Holiday Park is located near to the seaside town of Great Yarmouth synonymous with exciting family fun due to its wide range of theme park rides, adventure golf and plenty of arcade games. The town has a great pier, where you can stroll out to sea and pick up some traditional fish and chips and then an ice cream or candy floss treat for the kids.

Activities at Summerfields Holiday Park

The park itself has excellent facilities that will keep the whole family entertained. The children will just love the glass-fronted indoor pool, while you are sure to enjoy the spa and sauna facilities. There are plenty of other activities to explore, including crazy golf, mini 10-pin bowling, amusement arcades and an outdoor play area.

There are plenty of food options at the Diner and takeaway, and in the evening you can enjoy great family friendly entertainment at the Showbar.
