NORTH DENES IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR WINTER - WE REOPEN 1ST MARCH 2017

Situated on a quiet and relaxed site at the North Denes Caravan Park.  Only meters away from the sea wall and 2 minutes away from sandy dunes and beach.

Our Willerby Solara (2011 model) is a modern 6 berth caravan with double glazing and central heating ensuring a warm and cosy holiday all year round.

We want to make your stay as hassle free as possible and on arrival there will be a welcome basket waiting for you, we also provide bedding and towels so you don’t have to.

Facilities:

The Solara has a large living area with plenty of seating, a gas fireplace, TV and DVD player.

Also a dining area with a free standing table and seating for four.

A modern well equipped kitchen with everything you should need including a microwave.

The main bedroom has one double bed, there are two single beds in the second bedroom which can be made up with a kids theme if requested.  There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.  The modern bathroom has a shower.

Outside the caravan is a gravel driveway and patio seating area. 

Gas bottles, electric, bed linen, duvets and towels are all included in your stay.

WiFi is available on site for an additional charge.

Late checkout and early checkin can be arranged on request.

Dogs are welcome and can stay free of charge.  They will receive their own welcome basket and bowls, blankets etc. are also provided.

Surrounding area:

North Denes park is the most easterly caravan park in Britain, situated right on the east coast meters away from the sea.

Let the sound of waves lull you to sleep and be the first to see the sunrise in the morning.

“East Point” is a 5 minute walk along the sea front promenade.

The park has a small newsagents and shop on site selling all the basics and Lowestoft town centre is a 15 minute walk away.

Overlooked by the Grade 11 listed Lowestoft Lighthouse, opposite the park is the Sparrows Nest Gardens.   Which have a play area for small children, large open parkland, the Martello Coffee house (open for breakfast through to 5pm) and a great Italian Restaurant –Giardinos as well as Lowestoft maritime museum.

There are plenty of places to walk dogs.  At the south exit of the park is a large green area where you will meet plenty of fellow dog walkers.  North is more green fields changing to sandy dunes and beach.

By car:  Africa Alive! Zoo, Pleasurewood Hills theme park, Historic Norwich City Centre, Oulton Broad (Gateway to the Broads National Park), RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve and lots more.

Non refundable booking deposit of £75 paid on booking. 

Balance due 4 weeks before your stay.  Payment by Paypal, cheque or bank transfer.

We ask that you pay a refundable damage deposit of £50 against damage and breakages that will be returned to you 1 week after your stay.

North Denes caravan park is a quiet new development opened in March 2011. There are no facilities on the park itself, however they work alongside some local businesses in the area offering discounts and privilege cards.

Situated only 100 yards from the sea, with pleasant walks along the sea wall and dunes towards Corton Beach and only 5 minutes from Lowestoft South Beach by car.

Across the road at the Sparrows Nest are lovely gardens and a children’s play area, with entertainment in the Summer. The Martello restaurant has good food reasonably priced which opens at 8am for breakfast. A second restaurant is due to open in March 2012. There are pleasant walks along the cliffs into North Lowestoft, where there is a wide range of shops and eating places. Adjacent to the site there are tennis courts and a bowling green.

You are close to the Broads, Pleasurewood Hills and Minsmere Nature Reserve, The Flora Tea Rooms at Dunwich have excellent fish and chips. Well worth a visit is Africa Alive Wildlife Park with their giant car boot sale on Sundays. The entertainment and beach life at Yarmouth and excellent shopping at Norwich are only a short drive away.
