Shorefield Country Park, Milford on Sea, Hampshire

Located in the quiet Sea Breeze area of the park, our luxury Swift Bordeaux caravan can sleep up to 8 people. It has three bedrooms, one king with ensuite toilet, two twin bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge. It has a bathroom with shower, wash facility and toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room table with seating for six and an open lounge area with large french doors that open onto the decking area. The caravan is 38ft by 12ft and has double glazing, gas central heating and an electric fire. There is allocated parking directly outside for one large family car.

Our holiday home has a freeview digital TV, a DVD player and free Wifi. We also have a supply of DVD’s and board games that are available for our guests to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your holiday, including microwave oven, toaster, large fridge/freezer, and gas cooker/hob/grill. Bed linen and towels are not provided.

We have outdoor rattan furniture on the 8ft deck and a BBQ that our visitors are welcome to use on the grass area.

There is strictly no smoking in the caravan and we do not allow pets.

Our holiday home is a short 10-15min walk from the main clubhouse.  Leisure passes for the use of the swimming pools, gym and other leisure facilities can be purchased for a small charge when you arrive at the park.  All children under the age of 5 are free.  A pass for a 2 adults and up to 4 children costs approx £53 for 7 days.

Deposits

A £150 Security deposit is payable at the time of booking and will be refunded within two weeks of your return date, once we have confirmation that there has been no damages.

A £100 holding deposit is also due at the time of booking, to hold your date and the balance of the holiday will be due four weeks prior to your arrival. Once the balance is paid, we will send you full details of what you will need, as well as directions and details on key collection. All names of holiday makers must be given at the time of booking.

Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation, you must confirm this in writing.  No refund will be made once hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home. Once the balance has been paid refunds will only be considered in certain circumstances, at our discretion and subject to the time remaining to the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained. Transferring the date may be considered as an alternative to cancelling the holiday in full and will be at the discretion of the holiday home owner and dependent on availability.

Booking Conditions

1.  We reserve the right to withhold some or the entire security deposit and /or bill the hirer for the additional cost of: a) replacing and/or repairing all damage b) all breakages c) charge for cleaning the caravan or removing stains or replacing as new. All breakages, damage and stains within the caravan must be paid for. 

2. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are twenty-one (21) years of age and above. No same sex groups (Couples and Family’s only). 

3. Only the persons on the booking form may stay at the caravan. Over occupancy will not be tolerated. 

4. You shall notify in writing with any changes to person(s) listed on the booking form at the earliest possible opportunity and in any event, prior to arrival at the holiday park. 

5. You are responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form. Please respect our neighbours – we kindly ask you keep noise to a minimum when seated outside after 10pm.   

6. You agree that all persons named on the booking form shall be with you (the hirer) during your hire period of the holiday caravan.  

7. Each person listed on the booking form and your guest(s)/visitor(s) must be prepared to identify themselves to Shorefield staff upon request and comply with their reasonable requirements. 

8. We reserve the right to access to the holiday caravan as / when required. 

9. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give a and / or reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at our absolute discretion. 

10. In the case of a maintenance problem, you must notify us as soon as possible.  D.I.Y repairs must NOT be attempted. If you do any D.I.Y repairs, then rule 1 will apply. 

11. No pets are allowed. 

12. Smoking is NOT permitted in the caravan or on the decking area.  

13. To avoid the risk of fire, BBQ’s must be set up on the grass area away from the caravan and not on the decking area. 

14. The use of playdough, crayons and felt tips are not to be used. 

15. Please do not wear shoes on the carpeted areas. 

16. No Prams/Buggies to be left open, and used in the caravan as this may damage doors and fittings. 

17. The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition. If not, then rule 1 shall apply. 

18. We or Shorefield do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property and/ or accidents, injuries, illness arising from the hire of the caravan or use of the holiday park, including acts of god or extreme weather conditions. 

19. Upon commencement of hire the caravan maybe occupied from 3pm onwards on the first day of hiring. 

20. The holiday caravan must be vacated by 11am on the last day of hiring. 

21. If you are asked to vacate the caravan/holiday park by Shorefield staff for any reason whatsoever, money paid will not be refunded.   

22. Excessive gas and electric usage which will be chargeable and taken from the security deposit.

By paying the holding deposit you the hirer has agreed to the full terms and conditions, as above, as applicable at the time of your booking and holiday.  These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights under English law.

Close to the coast at Milford on Sea and just 3 miles from New Forest National Park, home to the famous ponies and deer. The club house features bars, eateries and regular entertainment for the whole family. The leisure facilities at Shorefield Country Park can only be described as excellent, providing activities for all the family. Leisure activities include: A small stocked lake for fishing (rod licence required), nature activities in the nature centre, leisure club featuring heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and spa bath. There is also a fully equipped gym, beauty spa and hair salon.

Complementing the above there is also the opportunity in the summer to take part in several exciting challenges thanks to a partnership in 2008 with PGL (The UK's leading provider of School trips) within Shorefield's outdoor activity centre. The activities are open to everyone aged 7 and over and activities include: Archery & Air Rifle taster session, Abseiling, Climbing wall and Trapeze. Please note that pre-booking is essential for 2 hour sessions and payment is required at time of booking.
