A lovely situated solitary caravan sited on a working farm, nestled in an old orchard. Between the magnificent Lakeland fells and Bassenthwaite lake. Just a stroll from Bassenthwaite village with a lovely dog friendly country pub open daily, serving great bar meals, and some 6 miles from Keswick and the market town of Cockermouth, and all they have to offer!
Choose your pace of holiday, loads of attractions near by and great walks or simply throw back and relax knowing you won’t be bothered.

Lakes Farm is situated way from the hustle and bustle, both dogs and children are welcome, making it a true family affair.
Located in the middle of a fully working family farm allowing visitors and guests the opportunity to feed the animals and engage in the complete farm experience - all within a few miles of famous Lake District walks and attractions.
A footpath passing the location leads directly to Bassenthwaite Lake, just a 20-minute walk away. Or wander down the little country lane nearby that also goes to the lake. Less than 5 minutes walk brings you to Bassenthwaite village, with its quaint child/dog friendly pub with wifi. The Lake District Wildlife Park is situated around a mile away, as well as the Lakes Distillery, which brews whiskey, gin and vodka and offers a tea room and bistro. For more sporting visitors, Lakes Farm is a short distance from golf courses and a sailing club. Also close to two hotels with a spa, health club and swimming pools.
The Mirehouse historic house and gardens and tea room is just a mile away. Visitors will find a number of walking paths in Dodd Wood, as well as an osprey viewing point, and child's play area.
The farm is also just a few hundred yards from a lovely church and a little further away on the lake shore is the historic St Bega's church, well worth a visit.
