Oakdene Forest Park, St.Leonards, Dorset (Ref.109022)

My lovely caravan, Poppy is set in the peaceful family friendly Oakdene park in St Leonards Dorset, with double glazing and central heating in every room.  There is a double parking bay directly outside. Some wrap around decking and a grassy area outside.  Situated in a quiet area of the park, 5 minutes walk to the entertainment centre, there is direct access to the beautiful Hurn Forest and Avon Forest is easily accessible by foot or cycle with an abundance of local wild life. Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch are a few miles drive away with many attractions nearby, such as Moores Valley Country Park with Go Ape and some fabulous walks.    

There’s free Wi-Fi across the park, a TV with free view in the lounge, smaller TV with built in DVD in one of the bedrooms and a selection of DVDs, board games and garden games.

There is an electric fire in the lounge, fridge freezer, kettle, microwave, slow cooker and all the utensils to make your stay feel like home from home. There is cutlery, glasses and crockery etc. for 6 people.  

Poppy is a 6 berth caravan, 1 double room with king size bed and en suite toilet and wash basin, and 2 twin rooms. There is a shower room with toilet and wash basin.

Bed linen is provided and all beds will be ready for your arrival. There is a weekly £30 discount if you prefer to bring your own bed linen.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge.

The park has many facilities including a club house with restaurants/bar and nightly entertainment, indoor pool with Jacuzzi, steam and sauna, adult only session are available morning and evening, an outdoor pool in summer months (May to Aug), a gym, children’s play area, mini golf, archery and amusement arcade an Esape room opened in May 21. There is a little shop on site although larger supermarkets are situated a ten minute drive away. There is also a laundrettte on site.

I have showed when Poppy is available, dates outside main holidays times can be broken down to Mon to Fri or Fri to Sun, just ask. If there are just two/three of you the cost may be negotiable. 

£150 deposit is required on booking your holiday which will be refunded within 48 hours after you depart, once the caravan has been checked and found to be left clean and with no damage or losses.  Please be aware if you choose to cancel your holiday within 10 days this is non refundable. Full payment is required 10 days prior to your arrival. If your holiday is cancelled due to Covid restrictions being placed upon us again, I will give you a full refund. Or you can choose other dates to stay if you would prefer.

Contactless check in at 14.30 on day of arrival and please checkout no later than 10.30 on departure day, this time is needed to allow time for the caravan to be cleaned. If you require a later check out or earlier check in, please ask, this may be possible in quieter times of the year. 

Leisure and Go Active passes are not required this year due to the uncertainty of Covid related restrictions for the pools. gym or entertainment, there may be an additional cost for activities such as Forest school, mini go karts or the Escape rooms. To book onto activities you may need to complete track and trace information. 

I provide duvets, duvet covers, pillows, pillow cases and sheets, towels are not provided.
