2021 INFORMATION​

May 17th - 18th July - ALL 2021 PRICES HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO COMPENSATE FOR ANY VARYING/REDUCED FACILITIES, OR BOOKING SYSTEMS THAT MAY BE IN PLACE. Prices include caravan hire, private parking PLUS access to Butlins facilities - arcade, funfair, shops, restaurants and bars! But not the bookable activities suh as swimming, reds, centre stage and studio 36. The prices includes passes is for upto 8 people from a maximum of 2 households, Butlins are VERY strict on this and admission may be refused if they have reason to believe there is more than two households. Refunds will not be given in these circumstances.​

BEDDING IS NOT INCLUDED but can be booked, and beds made on arrival for £35.00​

Prices include passes to everything Butlins has to offer, which may include swimming and entertainment for up to 2 adults (aged 15+) and 2 children (14 and under), At this moment in time (21st June 2021) we have not been told our guest WILL NOT have swimming or entertainment included, but we haven't had confirmation that it is included. Additional passes can be booked through us at an additional charge. This is subject to change due to the ongoing pandemic. If any changes are made by Butlin's, we aim to notify you as soon as possible and you will have the option to carry on. with your holiday, change your date or have a full refund. Please note: We are not in control of this situation. The rules set by Butlin's are just that, set by Butlin's. It is as frustrating for us as it is for our wonderful guests. If you choose to cancel for any other reason then please read the full terms and conditions for our cancelation policy.​

There is returnable damage deposit payable with the final balance, this is £75 for a family break and £125 for adult weekends. This deposit must be paid with the final balance and will be returned within 7 days of the end of your break subject to satisfactory report from the housekeeping team.

Caravan Information

Caravan 69 is a lovely 3 bedroom, 8 berth caravan for hire at Butlins in Minehead. 
 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS

Roger, Jemima and Colette have been the owners since sept 2019 and have enjoyed using it for themselves and hiring it out for other families to enjoy.

Our Holidays are 3, 4 or 7 nights starting on a Monday or Friday.​

You enter the caravan at the front door, into the living area. It has ample seating, a dining area then through to the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The oven and fridge were replaced for brand new appliances in March 2020. On through a door leads you to the inner hallway, you will find the shower room, main double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms. There is also an airing cupboard and a rear entrance/exit. Our caravan has 1 allocated parking space outside the cove. There is lots of green apace around the caravan to enjoy some chilled time.​

Iron, ironing board, baby bed guard, clothes airer and more can be found stored in various cupboards around the caravan. Feel free to use anything but please treat everything with care.​

There is a pull out sofa bed in the living area. Please note we do not supply bedding or duvets and pillows for this bed, so please bring your own. You will also need to bring your own towels and tea towels.​

Due to COVID-19 we are not supplying bedding, however pillows and duvets are available for your use. Please bring your own duvets and duvet covers.​

We strongly recommend all guests take our holiday insurance to cover you for any event out of yours control.

Thank you for interest in booking Lakeside 69 at Butlin’s Minehead. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and note that you agree to abide by these by signing a completed booking form.​

Check in is at 4pm at Butlin’s guest services. Your passes and welcome pack will be issued. Please do not attempt to enter the caravan before 4pm as security may ask you to leave. The caravan should be vacated by 10am on departure day to enable the van to be cleaned before the next guests. Please ensure that you take all your belongings with you and leave the caravan in a clean and tidy condition. All waste food and drink should be removed from the caravan and all electrical appliances switched off.​

The lead hirer is responsible for all members of the group. A damage bond of £75 is charged on all family breaks, £125 on adult breaks. This must be received as cleared payment at least 8 weeks prior to your hire date. By booking and agreeing to these terms and conditions, the hirer accepts responsibility for any damage that occurs during their agreed hire dates.  In the case of damage exceeding the damage deposit amount of £75 for family breaks and £125 for adult breaks, costs to put right any damage will be invoiced to the hirer. If this invoice remains unpaid after 14 days the damage repair costs will be sought via the Small Claims Court. In all instances of major damage the police will be informed and a crime reference number obtained. In all cases of lost keys, sickness/staining on the carpets, bedding etc then the cost of repair/replacement will be billed to the hirer. A full inventory of caravan contents is taken between each hire and replacement cost of any missing items following your hire will be deducted from your damage deposit. Should you arrive at the caravan and find any damage you must notify us immediately on mineheadcaravan69@outlook.com or you will be held responsible. Any problems arising whilst at the caravan should also be notified while there to enable us to have someone come to the caravan to check. Any claims for compensation will not be honoured if the problem is not notified to us during your break.

Damage bonds will be returned within 5 working days subject to the above conditions and the caravan being left clean, tidy and free from damage on departure which includes but is not limited to removing all belongings, food and rubbish, no washing up is left, the oven is clean as found, all inventory complete and free from damage.​

On family breaks we accept guests to the maximum berth of the caravan (8). No more than 6 adults are permitted to stay at one time. As per Butlin’s rules there must be some over 25’s in the caravan on all adult only breaks. On family breaks Butlin’s do not allow all single sex groups.​

SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE CARAVAN OR AT THE DOORS OR WINDOWS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE AND NO REFUND GIVEN.​

Dogs are not permitted in the caravan. Anyone found bringing a pet into the caravan will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. If evidence of a dog is found within the caravan by our own in-house cleaning team you will NOT get your deposit returned and extra cleaning charges may be invoiced to you.​

Butlin’s operate an open water policy whereby all children must be supervised by an adult at all times around open water and under no circumstances go swimming in lakes, ponds or moats.​

We supply clean bedding for up to 6 guests: 1 double bed and 4 single beds. Please do not remove this bedding during your stay unless it is soiled, in which case please inform us. We do not supply bedding or duvets pillows for the pull out sofa bed in the lounge; if you need to use the sofa bed please bring a full set of bedding with you. Please bring your own towels and tea towels.​

When booking your break, a non-refundable deposit of £75 will be charged. This will secure your booking. Your confirmation letter/email will state the date that the balance should be paid by. In all cases the holiday will be re-advertised should full payment not be received by the date stated. The balance of all breaks will be payable 8 weeks before departure. If the break is booked with less than 8 weeks before the start date then the full balance will be payable immediately upon booking. All holidays incur a non-refundable £10 Butlins admin fee and a refundable damage deposit. Should you wish to cancel the break The deposit and Butlins admin change is non-refundable. Should you wish to cancel the break once the balance has been paid, we will refund the holiday cost, minus the deposit and Butlins admin charge using the following scale, Longer than 8 weeks – 100%, Week 8, 80%, Week 7, 70%, Week 6, 60%, Week 5, 50%, Week 4, 40%, Week 3, 30%, Week 2, 20%, Week 1 10% once the balance has been paid this will only be refunded at the owner’s discretion. The price we have quoted you for the break includes Butlin’s entertainment passes with the exception of spring harvest and all arena breaks or private functions. These will be clearly stated on the website and made aware at time of booking.

Please note that any amendments to the booking will incur a £25 Butlins admin charge.​

We STRONGLY recommend that you take out private travel insurance for any circumstances that are out of our control. We do not take responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items within the caravan. The caravan should be kept locked at all times when not occupied and during the night. Butlin’s reserve the right to change any advertised entertainment and we cannot take any responsibility for this.
