This well equipped clean & comfortable non-smoking 6 berth caravan is situated on a lovely unspoilt quiet site in East Runton, Norfolk which we named Sea-escape as we want you to escape next to the sea to holiday or relax. In our portfolio picture's advertising our caravan please note that sunset / cliffside pictures are taken nearby and not a indication of view from caravan window. The caravan has 2 doors that open on to decking and the caravan is longer than normal being 29 foot long it give,s you that extra bit of space..Please note Caravan hire is for weekly lets only, Sat - Sat. Nice spot this caravan, tucked away at top end of site.

What can we tell you about this beautiful scenic area, we have been visiting this area since 1985 with our children and now our children are taking their children so it does have that certain feel as well has having numerous tourist attractions and is popular for bird watching and walking. Our caravan is situated on a generous size plot tucked away at the rear of the site so ( not roadside ) and does have partial seaviews and it is a short walk to the beach ( 5 mins ) with car parking next to caravan. The village of East Runton has a village green, a playground, a pond, 2 pubs, a club with Bingo, Quiz nights & entertainment, Fish & Chip shop, Paper shop/Bistro, General store, Butchers & Greek resturant.
East Runton is between the Norfolk towns of Cromer, (famous for its crabs & Victorian pier with end of pier shows), & Sheringham, Regular buses run either way through the village. There are 3 golf courses all close by, West Runton along with the links courses of Cromer & Sheringham. In Sheringham they have the North Norfolk Railway where you can experience a Steam Train journey and Sheringham also has an indoor liesure and fitness centre called Splash.
Our caravan has 2 Bedrooms, 1 double & 1 twin singles, another double bed can also be made in the living area, (Duvets & Pillows supplied). You will need to bring all your own ben linen and towels for the amount of guests staying ( max 6 ) Just been recarpeted last year.
Our Lounge area has spacious seating, a gas fire, there are also 1 portable heaters, LED TV with freeview, DVD player & USB port. The kitchen area has a Cooker, undercounter Fridge Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, & pots, pans & all utensils.
Parking is next to the caravan, where there is lots of room to relax outside
There is also an outside storage bench chair seat/box with 6 chairs,& windbreak in for your use during your holiday.
Gas & Electric are included in the price.
There is since start of 2015 wi-fi covering the site, this is obtainable by a company who will supply wi-fi at a charge per day / week etc, and details of this I can send to you when enquirying, this is a separate issue with a service provider who provide the Gap Caravan Site with wi-fi coverage and not the responsibilty of us the caravan hirers.
The site does has a coin operated laundrette.( 2 washine machines / 1 dryer )
If arriving by Train Cromer station is a 5 min taxi ride.

The Gap Caravan Site is located in a fantastic position, footsteps away from the beach, on the cliff tops of East Runton in North Norfolk, just over a mile away from Cromer town centre.
The park has remarkable views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Cromer pier, church and lighthouse can also be seen from most parts of the site. There is a slope opposite our entrance which goes straight down to East Runton's very own Blue Flag beach, leading to hours of fun to be had building sandcastles or searching for crabs in the rock pools at low tide. East Runton also offers two pubs, a Greek restaurant, Fish & Chips and a convenience shop. Within waking distance is the town of Cromer, with it's Blue Flag sandy beaches, famous pier, Church, numerous cafes and shops, museum, cinema and the end of pier 'Seaside Special' shows. There is also a train station which runs direct to the fine city of Norwich, which is 40 minutes away.
Sheringham, a short five minute drive away, is another busy seaside town. It has the 'Splash' Leisure Pool as well as beautiful gardens to see at Priory Maze and Gardens. There is also the opportunity to hop on the North Norfolk Steam Railway to take a ride to the Georgian town of Holt.
Whatever time of year you choose to holiday at Gap Caravan Park you are bound to find plenty to see and do and one thing is certain - one visit is never enough...
