I would like to welcome you to White Acres luxury holiday park at White Cross near Newquay Cornwall which is run by Parkdean. The holiday park is set in 184 acres of beautiful country side with 13 tranquil fishing lakes making it the perfect destination for the angler or holiday makers alike.

About the caravan
Our caravan  is available for hire from march to november.Its of a very high standard and spacious with double glazing & gas central heating. Situated in a private location on the Oak Forest area of the park within close walking distance to the lakes.

Accomodation consists of 3 bedrooms 1 double & 2 twin.The master bedroom has a double bed and with fitted wardrobes along with alarm clock & hairdryer. The other 2 bedrooms consist of 2 single beds in each along with fitted wardrobes there is also a double pull out bed in the lounge so that 6/8 can be accomodated quite comfortably. All bedding is provided you just need towels.

The main living area is of a large lounge with vaulted celling there is a lcd tv with freeview, dvd player, cd player/radio. Away from the lounge is an open plan diner leading on to a fully fitted & equipped kitchen with seperate grill & oven, fridge freezer, microwave, and all other amenities expected in a modern kitchen. Bathroom consists of a modern shower,toilet & wash basin. Private parking and tackle lockers.  No tackle or bait is to be kept in our caravan/fridge.

We have tried to include things in the caravan that we would like to have  use of ourselves, such as a fresh coffee maker, sandwich toaster, books for a holiday read and things to keep the kids amused! There is a playstation in the caravan with lots of games (try the play station buzz quiz for all the family,see who knows the most or is quickest its great fun)

There are two body boards for guests to use,go and have a mini surf on one of Newquay's fantastic beaches,it really is good fun.

A new outside decking area has been added in early april to enable guests to sit outside and perhaps watch the sunset with a bottle of wine or just a nice area to catch some sun during the day.

About the site
Set in184 acres of countyside there is a main club house. The Lakeside Club with live cabaret,and new for 2010 is the Polkerris Pizzeria Bar and grill, enjoy a costa coffee & a sticky bun whilst surfing the web in the free wi-fi zone or a delicious lunch in the lounge area or just simply chillout with a drink from the bar,go on treat your self you are on holiday) also why not try your handatair hockey, pool, darts or bowling in the sports themed pool room, amusements arcade, fish&chip shop, First Bite cafe at the lakes, mini super market & bakery. About the lakes
There are 13 lakes on site and 2 of site including the famous bolingey. The lakes include specimen, match & pleasure all stocked with plenty of fish. There are 3 specimen lakes with catfish to 69lbs and carp to 30lbs. Also the on site match lakes reach weights in excess of 150lbs with bolingeys weights reaching 250lbs. Professional advice & tuition is avalable at the well stocked tackle shop.
