Booking.
All bookings are subject to availability and must be made by a person over 18 years of age. Bookings for all Male or All Female groups aged 25 or under years of age will only be accepted by special arrangement. Inappropriate or Unreasonable conduct will result with the person responsible for such behavior being asked to leave the Caravan park. No refund will be given for lost time in this event. We retain the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of written confirmation.
Payment.
When we confirm availability, a non-refundable deposit/booking fee** payment will be required as follows:-
£60 for each full week booked
£50 for 4 night short break
£40 for 3 night weekend break
Full Amount for special or late offers (+booking fee**) as shown on the website
You can pay as follows
Cheque or Postal order (Payable to Mr K J Torrey)
Cash payments can be sent by Special Delivery or Recorded delivery post, however we will not be held responsible for any loss of payment if you choose to use this method.
Internet or bank transfer we can accept deposits and balance payments via this method. (No additional cost)
Paypal money can be sent to mail@kjay.com with the reference MP119 and the start date of your holiday reservation (3.9% Paypal fee will be charged for each payment made this way).
Once the deposit is received a booking confirmation with your details and the balance of your total holiday cost outstanding, will be sent to your home address. (Unless you have sent a booking form with your full payment). Outstanding balances must be paid at least 4 weeks before your arrival date.
However, if your booking is made less than 4 weeks before your planned arrival date, the full holiday amount is required to be paid at the time of booking.Reminders for payments will not be issued. If your payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to re-let the Caravan. Please contact us by phone or email if the payment is not likely to reach us by this time.
Changes to bookings.
If you need to change your confirmed booking and alternative dates are available, an administration fee of £25 will be charged. This charge applies if the change is within 4 weeks of the original holiday commencement. Alternatively if more than 4 weeks notice is given and alternative dates are available, no admin charge will be made.
*Cancellation & Deposits/Booking Fee
If you wish to cancel the booking you must inform us immediately in writing. It is recommended that all holidaymakers obtain their own travel & holiday insurance as no refunds are given. As per the above paragraph, if availability exists you'll be given the opportunity to move your holiday to other week(s) / days, if the total holiday cost of the substitute booking is higher the difference must be paid by the hirer within 7 days.
**We hope you find our charges fair but in order to cover ourselves from any added expense when breakages or other damages occur (which has put us out of pocket in the past) the caravan will be inspected as it cleaned after your visit. Provided everything is in order we will refund your deposit within 7 days.
Should any issues be reported to us, we will contact you to advise and agree an amount to be deducted from your deposit to cover any breakages or damage (with the exception of normal wear and tear) that occured during your stay.
We do accept accept that most guests will treat our holiday home with respect and to make sure please report any issues to us upon your arrival in case our cleaner does not notice something that may have happened during the previous guests period of stay.
Arriving and Departing
All weekly bookings run from Saturday to Saturday (7 nights), unless otherwise stated. When the holiday has been paid in full, you'll be sent a Key-Collection form. (In certain cases such as midweek breaks a key will be sent to your home address by recorded delivery a week prior to your holiday start date.)
Very Important:- It is ESSENTIAL you take this Key-Collection Form with you to the Caravan park. Upon arrival at the Park Reception you will need to exchange this for the Caravan keys. For security reasons the park office operate a very strict policy relating to the issue of Keys and that is simply:- No Form – No Keys.
The keys will be available between 2:30pm & 5pm on Friday, Saturday or Monday other arrangements will be made for arrivals at other times such as non standard breaks. Replacement key forms will not be provided. On departure day, please vacate the Caravan by 10am and return the keys to the office.
If you do not hand the keys back to office/reception or lose them you agree to pay the costs incurred to replace the Caravan Locks and up to 4 sets of new keys.
