This is an extra wide caravan on a super site at Cresswell Towers in Northumberland. It has double glazing and is supplied with all equipment... All you need to bring are bottom sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, Towel's and personel item's.
The caravan is a 3 bedroom type, with 1 X double bed room, 1 X with 2 single beds, 1 X 2 bunk beds. And a double bed folded under the seating in the lounge. Sleeping a max of 8 people. There is a TV with built in DVD and freeview, radio cassett and CD player, vacuum cleaner, iron & board, hair dryer, microwave, sandwich maker, and other items so you can make the most of your hoilday.
Club and indoor pool passes required (at extra cost) if you wish to use the club/bar or swimming pool. The site provides a play area, (new equipment installed during 2010) with childrens entertainment on most days/evenings in summer, and a well stocked site shop. There is also a launderette on the park. There is a bus stop outside the main gate with an hourly service to Ashington where there is a large ASDA, opposite the bus station.
Druridge Bay beach approx 300yds (See photo above which is taken from nearest entrance to beach from park) from main gate with miles of golden sand. Great place to chill out or to use as a base to tour Northumberland with Holy Island going north and Beamish going south (within an hour drive). Nature reserves within 2 miles for the ornithologist in you. Great for sea fishing all along the coast (Bait shop in Lynmouth now). Plenty to see and do without going miles just to get there. Castles, and ”CASTLES" to visit, including Alnwick (Hogwart's in the "Harry Potter" films). Boat trips from Amble and Seahouses to see the bird life and seal's around the island's. Unspoilt country side to walk in with county pubs and villages to explore. There is a small home made ice cream shop in the village by the beach. In near by Ellington (1 mile) there is a local shop and a post office, while in Lynemouth (2 miles) you can find a local co-op, take aways and a fish & chip shop. The club also caters for meals with some 2 for £11 meals at certain times along with takeaway facilities. 3 Pub's within 3 miles serving meals.
Car parking close by (One other caravan away). No parking on grassed areas.
The park is a family park. Sorry but bookings from families and couples age 18+ only. (Park Rules)
Cots & high chairs are available direct from the park at approx cost of £10 per item per week. Contact the park direct to hire these items when available.
