Our 3 bedroomed central heated, double glazed caravan is in the Castlelakes area of Haggerston Castle Holiday Park, not too far from the entertainment complex.
The front doors open onto a deck where you can sit and watch the world go by. There is a view of Castlelake.
In the lounge there is plenty of seating and a pull out sofa bed under the seats. There is a TV/DVD player and a fire for the cooler evenings.
There is a free standing dining table and chairs near to the kitchen which contains everything you need if you want to cook. There is a full size gas cooker, a microwave, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, utensils, etc. The tall fridge freezer and cupboards will hold lots of food and drink.
Two twin bedrooms each contain two single beds and cupboards and the master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobes etc.
Duvets and pillows are supplied. I would be grateful if you could bring your own bed linen and towels.
There is a shower room with toilet and washstand and another toilet with washstand.
I am sorry that passes are not included in the price but you can easily get them at Holiday Reception.
Gas & Electric are included.
We cannot have animals or smoking in the caravan and no single sex parties are allowed.
There is plenty to do at Haggerston even if it rains. There is the swimming pool, arcade, live lounge, Mash & Barrel to name a few.
In the entertainment complex you will find food outlets including Papa Johns Pizzas, Burger King, A Fish & Chip shop and of course the Mash & Barrel.and Live Lounge.
There are also plenty of places of interest nearby. Some of which are Holy Island, just a few minutes away, Alnwick Castle where some parts of the Harry Potter films were filmed, Chain Bridge Honey Farm where you can have lunch on the Bus Cafe and see the bees in action making the honey. There are lots of leaflets suggesting where you can visit in the Holiday Reception area.
