Our mobile home is situated on the 5* Glan Gors Holiday Park in Brynteg on the outskirts of Benllech village. This site is ideal for children as it is extremely secure, the gates at the entrance/exit are closed between the hours of 6pm and 9am, access is only gained during these hours by means of a key card which we will provide. You could not be better placed for the pool and children's play area, both are on the doorstep.
It offers a spacious lounge area with seating for up to 6 people, a dining area with table and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with oven/grill/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, fridge/freezer, cutlery & crockery, pots & pans, literally everything you would have at home! There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twins. Duvets and pillows are provided but please remember to bring your own bedding (sheets, duvet cover, pillow cases) and towels. One of the twin rooms has a tv/dvd player with Freeview channels (if guests prefer the twin beds can be pushed together to become 'doubles'). The main bathroom has a shower, toilet & hand basin and there is also a further toilet & hand basin, which is extremely useful when maximum occupancy is reached. Outside is a large decking/patio area with a BBQ, an outdoor table & chairs. There is a lawned area off the decking and the whole area can be made secure if you have small children. Parking is to the side or at the front of the caravan. If you would like to bring a pet please contact us to check it is allowed before you book as the site does have rules we have to abide by.
In the Reception building you will find the heated indoor pool with separate children’s pool, changing & shower facilities, a sauna and small gym. The Laundry room is off to the side of the building and you will find coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers. Please note that the Reception staff will not be able to assist with any problems you may have during your stay, please contact me directly via phone/ text or email.
Out and about there are numerous walks and cycle paths on Anglesey, keen golfers will find Storws Wen Golf club within walking distance of Glan Gors holiday park offering excellent greens. There are several other golf courses on the island to keep you busy too! For those who enjoy fishing there’s Tyddyn Sargent Fishery which is also very close and it offers day ticket fishing on 2 lakes and is ideal for beginners to experienced fishermen. Again, there are several other lakes dotted around the island or you may want to try a Sea Fishing trip, bringing back your catch to cook on the BBQ! For those who prefer to stay on dry land there are several areas where you can fish directly off the rocks – Benllech, Molfre and Black Point are a few. For the children (and adults!!) go to Beaumaris where crabbing is very popular off the pier, you can see the remains of the Castle and walk around the walls, finish the day off with a visit to the Ice-cream parlour on the main road, they have the best flavours!!
