Welcome home.......Woodside Beach H/Park.

An incredible peaceful site on the Isle of Wight which boasts stunning sea views with its very own private beach and Bounded by protective woodland which is brimming with wildlife including the red squirrel and interlaced with walking routes which are enjoyed from this natural site. The serene setting means that times spent on the park is all about rest and relaxation, however the beauty and entertainment facilities that  the whole island as to offer are not far away, so makes this the idyllic location for old and young alike.

The caravan is more homely because we have personel items that we are happy to share with you and to make your stay better.

There are 2 personel kayaks that we are more than happy for you to use.

     At Your Own Risk  and that you take good care of them.

However if damage occurs whilst in your care then they will need to be paid for. Im afraid they are not for children but teenagers with experience and under parent supervision is ok. You are more than welcome to ask us questions about tides and dangers before adventure'ing out.

This is also a good place for families who wish to go fishing from the beach and have barbaques.

Public transport is every 20 minutes from the local town to every destination on the island and a day to week passes, family or singles can be purchased at reasonable rates.

The accommodation:  A double bedroom at rear with woodland view. A twin room with sea views. Lounge with sea views front and side with outside sun deck and table/chairs. Fully equipt kitchen and towels/linen with TV/DVD Freeview, DVDs and books.

The town of Wootton and Wootton creek is a pleasent  20 minutes walk down lanes amongst nature or just 5 minutes by car with many local store facilities. 2 Pub/restaurants. The Sloop on the creek as great offers this year....all day roasts/carvery for just £3.69 and self service icecream as much as u like for just £1.80.  Great place with creek harbour garden. Other village stores include Chip shop, Chinese and indian. Tesco express, Wholsale wine seller and spirits. Doctors, chemist, vets, greengrocer and traditional butchers. Postoffice/spar and fuel station.

The local ferry terminals wightlink ferries (Portsmouth - Fishbourne)

Red funnel Ferries  ( Southampton- East Cowes ) are just 15 minutes drive.

Woodside Beach is located between both terminals.

Site facilities  are basic due to its natural beauty and mainly private site. It only holds a laundrette, Site office and night lit area.

However we privately  own a commercial sports rib licensed to carry up to 7 passengers for enjoyment on the water. (Fee applies on a hourly rate either  scheduled outings or private hire with skipper). Trips to Southampton and Portsmouth or even around the island.

Prices and accommodation limits :

Fridays-Mondays from £120-£150. Mondays- Fridays £150-£200

Full weeks £250- £300  based on times of year.

A maximum of 4 adults sharing or 2 adults 2 children. However a 5th person being a baby is on request. Travel cot supplied free on weekend breaks or charged at £5 per week.

The site is pet friendly and we are more than happy for small pets but must have own bedding and adhere to site rules.

Directions:   Red Funnel East Cowes. Take the A3021 heading Newport for 4 miles to main roundabout signed Newport or Ryde.  Turn Left heading Ryde on the A3054  4 miles to Wootton. Go past Tesco's Express on Left and take 3rd left turning into New road. Continue up lane for 2 miles past Wootton creek harbour to a 4 way junction in lane and take 2nd left.. Continue for 1/2 mile and take first right down to the site and sea.

Wightlink Fishbourne terminal Head out of terminal to traffic lights. Get into Right hand lane Heading Newport. 4 miles and cross the Wootton bridge creek, then turn 1st Right into New road. Continue up the lane for 2 miles past Wootton creek harbour to a 4 way junction in lane and then take 2nd left. Continue for 1/2 mile and take first right down to the site and sea.
