The location of Forest Edge makes it an ideal location for campers and holiday makers fond of walks and bike rides. The park is ideally positioned to explore the New Forest and offers easy access to popular tourist towns of Poole & Bournemouth, the best beaches are only a short drive from the campsite. The camping pitch price and holiday home rental at Forest Edge includes free use of leisure and entertainment facilities at nearby Oakdene Forest Park (there is a short walk less than a mile or nice cycle ride through the woodland to Oakdene - just ask the staff on Reception for the route).
Forest Edge is also cited as being a great location for people with young families, this reputation is helped by encouraging a child friendly atmosphere with our children's adventure playground, five a side netball and football area and games room with pool table and table tennis and a few games machines.
With a well stocked shop on the site and on site facilities there are plenty of reasons not to leave the Park. Should you wish to stock up on the essentials there are plenty of large supermarkets in neighbouring towns.
