“Had a lovely relaxing mini break in this peaceful, secluded spot, with easy access to beaches, lots of local attractions and amenities. The caravan was immaculate, well equipped (including TV, microwave and a lovely hot shower) and very cosy. The caravan is surrounded by private woodland, which was great for the kids and the dog too! Would definitely recommend.” L.Thompson, Clapham, London
"Following a recent stay at Beafort Holiday Park, I'm writing to thank Martin for providing a clean, modern and well-equipped caravan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this caravan to anybody wishing to have a peaceful and relaxing break." L. Kernot, Surrey
Meanwhile, within ten minutes' drive, of the park itself, you're in Hastings Old Town, famous for its unique, tall fishing huts (as seen on Foyle's War) and active beach-launched fishing fleet.
Indeed, look out for the little fish stalls just behind The Stade (where the new Jerwood Art Gallery is being constructed) and buy the freshest, just-landed, local fish for a fraction of supermarket prices. Particulary good this time of year is the Plaice, Lemon Sole, Sea bass, John Dory and Crab.
Also here, you'll find loads of pubs and bars - many with live music - resaturants, cafes, antique markets and independent shops. And of course the beach and Country Park.
Within half an hour's drive, you have Rye, Battle, Camber Sands, Bexhill on Sea plus loads of tucked-away villages with historic churches...and pubs.
Also, East Sussex and the immediate region has more than its fair share of stately homes, castles, landscaped gardens, vineyards, farm shops and fantastic country walks.
