We are reluctantly selling our lovely caravan,as we no longer have the time to use it and for financial reasons.We have hardly used the caravan,as we brought the caravan and then moved to Clacton. The caravan was only used when family visited. This year we decided to hire the caravan out to help with the costs.
We are really surprised by the amount of interest we have had from people wanting to hire our caravan. Advertising through static-caravan.co.uk has meant that people are aware it is a privately owned caravan and have looked after it, as if it were their own. If anyone wanted to carry on letting the caravan out, this is a great way to pay your site fees and still have holidays when you want them!
The caravan cost us £45,000 and the decking and extras cost another £20,000.
We would be looking for a price in the region of £28,000 (although we would consider any serious offers!).
This price would include everything inside and outside the caravan. The caravan does have its own website: www.caravanhireatstosyth.webs.com, which we would also include. The website shows all the details of the caravan,the lay out and the caravan inside and out.
Financial Costs Involved with the Purchase of the Caravan
- The site does take 15% + VAT Commission Charge, on top of the cost of the Caravan
(we would be more than happy to discuss this with anyone wishing to purchase the caravan)
- The new owner would need to purchase Insurance for the caravan,we currently pay £377.28 per year on a New for Old Basis
- Gas & Electricity are both charged quarterly and are on meters, the tariff is a normal domestic tariff
- The Ramtech Security Alarm for the caravan is £70.50 per annum and is paid until the end of February 2010
- We have been informed the Site Fees have been frozen for 2010 and as such last year, they were £2895.00. They are payable at the end of October 2009. This Park offers a 12 month Direct Debit facility, with no Interest charges, which is currently how we pay our Site Fees. There are discounts offered if the Fees are paid in full. (We have been told to inform any New Owners, an additional £500 would be added to their Site Fees, as we have a Royalty Bonus)
St Osyth Beach Holiday Park is a great family park and as an owner you would benefit from discounts that owners receive when there are any big functions taking place,this includes the new VENUE at Seawick also there are FREE owners breakfasts and parties throughout the season. As an owner you would also be able to enjoy all the facilities at Seawick Holiday Park,which is just across the road. This caravan would entitle you to 8 FREE passes,for facilities on both parks.
This park is one of the only parks in the area,that is open 46 weeks a year (only closed for 6 weeks).
