Taking a short walk along the private beach or cliffs to the right looking out to sea you will come to West Bay, where 'Harbour lights' was filmed. In the opposite direction e.g. going from the private beach to the left is Burton Bradstock beach and the well renowned 'Hive' Café.

LOCAL AREA

We are situated by, a spectacular private beach - part of the Jurassic Coastline  which is part of the World Heritage site, surrounded by sandstone cliffs and grassy slopes. We are located in the south west of England, in the superb scenic county of Dorset.
Taking a short walk along the private beach or cliffs to the right looking out to sea you will come to West Bay, where 'Harbour lights' was filmed. In the opposite direction e.g. going from the private beach to the left is Burton Bradstock beach and the well renowned 'Hive' Cafe. After this then the National Trust Cogden Beach followed by the exclusive West Bexingtom beach near Abbotsbury - with the Swannery and tropical gardens. On the map we are roughly half-way between Lyme Regis and Weymouth.

PETS

2 dogs/ 2 cats welcome,
GUIDANCE ONLY. Your dog is welcome on the private beach by the holiday home. At Burton Bradstock Beach-no dogs between 1 May and 30 September but we come of the small part of the beach here and continue on the coast path, they are allowed on East Beach. At West Bexington Beach dogs are allowed in a restricted area and at Eype Beach dogs are permitted.  Cogden Beach where dogs can run and play to their hearts delight all year. At Lyme Regis’s Dogs are allowed on Monmouth Beach, Cobb Gate and East Beach. OF course there is the STUNNING coast path along these areas for doggie walks and superb views from places such as Golden Cap
